This tubing features an EVOH oxygen diffusion barrier on its exterior, which effectively limits oxygen permeation into hydronic heating systems and reduces the corrosion of ferrous metal parts. The EVOH barrier has been tested and shown to have an oxygen diffusion rate of no more than 0.10 g/m^3/day at 104°F, in accordance with DIN 4726. Environmentally friendly, reliable, and easy to install, Zurn PEX Performa tubing is also flexible and low-lead compliant, making it a top choice for radiant heat and snow melt applications.
