Thornhill High School, Gweru, Zimbabwe, was founded in 1955 at an Air Force Base.
The school relocated to new premises where traditions developed with time. Ex-pupils of this fine school adopted the habit of arranging periodic re-unions world-wide - normally in Zimbabwe itself but also the Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and United Kingdom, where like-minded individuals created and renew friendships.
2015 is the 60th year since its founding, and once again various re-unions were held to commemorate this significant mile-stone in the history of Thornhill High School.
More pages have been added since the Third Edition was published in November 2015 - after the BIG Harare (Zimbabwe) and Paeroa (New Zealand) reunions were held in October 2015.
Old, long lost friends, have been found and re-united - as if it was only yesterday when Thornhillians went their separate ways.
This record, by past pupils, for past pupils, celebrates these historical events.

I get that battle maps are always a challenge (maps are static - battles are dynamic). This does a fairly adequate job - better than most battle maps - though far from groundbreaking. item arrived well packed - no issues with binding (as some others seem to report). Though the book overall is a bit "warped" and several of the maps are mis-printed or mis-cut as to make them unusable. 3 bad out of 300 - not horrible - again at the price I paid. If the subject interest you - I'd suggest getting - but not a "must have".
