This flat MaggieFrame embroidery hoop is not ideal for curved surfaces like hats. It’s designed for flat fabric materials on models such as Brother Stellaire XJ1 or Babylock Destiny 2. For hats and caps, a specialized cap frame or hat hoop supports better tension and stitch accuracy on curved fabrics.

How should I store this magnetic hoop? Will the magnets weaken over time?

Store your MaggieFrame embroidery hoop either snapped together or separately in a dry space away from metal tools. The neodymium magnets are permanent and will not weaken with normal use. Materials are far superior to your typical mount, which I’m sure drives up the manufacturing costs. Again, worth every penny. Also, it’s a small business based in the US.
