Lock down critical equipment with the Middle Atlantic SECL Series 3RU Fixed Security Cover with Hinged Plexi Door. engineered for reliability and security, this cover blends a rugged steel frame with a discreet, smoked-gray plexiglass door that is both see-through and tamper-resistant. Designed for 3 rack unit (3RU) installations, it provides a compact, professional solution to protect valuable gear from dust, tampering, and unauthorized access while preserving visibility for quick status checks. Whether you’re outfitting data centers, AV installations, broadcast suites, or network closets, this security cover keeps your front-end components organized and secure without sacrificing accessibility for authorized technicians.

  • Robust security with a discreet door: The SECL Series pairs a sturdy steel frame with a key-locked 3/16" smoked-gray plexi door. The lock provides reliable access control, deterring tampering and ensuring that only authorized personnel can reach your equipment. The door is hinged for smooth operation, so maintenance staff can quickly access front-panel controls without removing the entire cover.
  • Precisely sized for 3RU applications: This model is engineered for 3 rack units (3RU) and is offered in multi-rackspace options (2, 3, 4, and 8 rackspaces) to fit a wide range of configurations. The fixed design delivers a clean, uniform appearance across your rack and simplifies cable management by maintaining a consistent enclosure footprint.
  • Depth optimized for equipment clearance: With a compact depth of 1-1/2" (38 mm), the cover clears controls on most equipment and prevents interference with front-panel connectors, switches, and cabling. The slim profile minimizes protrusion from the rack while still delivering strong security and protective coverage.
  • Visibility and protection in one package: The smoked-gray plexiglass door allows operators to monitor indicator lights and status screens without exposing the interior to dust or casual tampering. The combination of security and visibility is ideal for environments where quick, informed checks are essential but unauthorized access must be avoided.
  • Durable, professional-grade construction: Built around a steel frame with a durable finish, the 3RU Fixed Security Cover delivers long-lasting performance in demanding environments. Its sleek appearance complements modern racks and supports a neat, professional look for data centers, media rooms, and IT closets alike.

Before you begin, ensure you have the correct rackspace size and that the mounting area is clear of obstructions. Align the SECL Series security cover with the rack rails or mounting points designated for 3RU installations. Carefully slide or position the frame so that the front panel aligns with the rack face and the door hinges operate without binding against adjacent equipment. Secure the steel frame to the rack using the appropriate fasteners supplied by Middle Atlantic or specified in your installation guide. After mounting, verify that the hinged plexi door opens smoothly and that the key lock engages fully when in the locked position. Perform a functional check by powering on the front-panel indicators and confirming that no cabling or switches are impeded by the cover. Store the included or provided keys in a secure location and train staff on access procedures to preserve security. Regular inspections should be part of routine rack maintenance to ensure continued alignment, hinge integrity, and lock operation over time.

The dynamic duo has done it again!
Format: Kindle
I think TB & Miranda are my favorite writing duo. I love all their books whether written independently or collaboratively. Although this is an age-gap story of two doctors, Rowan and Simone, it's a mature telling of two very independent yet professional women with a lot at stake in their careers, as well as their personal lives. In addition to the MCs, the secondary characters added extremely juicy conflict and delightful humor and levity. I especially loved Marigold and her free spirited young daughter Poppy. I wasn't sure how the ethical dilemmas would be solved, but these fabulous authors wrote a very thought-provoking and satisfying ending. Well done, you two! I wholeheartedly recommend!!!

Kittens. crazy kid, what could go wrong?
Format: Kindle
Good read. Usually I eschew romance unless it comes with a mystery or intrigue. T.B. Miranda, thank you for a very enjoyable book.

A love story with hurdles that few could overcome, but love can be forever.
Format: Kindle
Rowan, a dedicated doctor from a family in the medical profession on Cape Cod, Massachusetts, can never be as good as her father or Rowan’s husband, Lance. Erica, Lance’s daughter, Rowan’s step-daughter, her mother died when she was young. Lance, renowned surgeon, Chief Medical Officer at the Cape Cod hospital started by Rowan’s Grandmother and Rowan’s father runs, and has a gambling problem. Simone, met Erica when Simone was the RA of Erica’s college dorm, Erica’s best friend, and a new doctor who wants to be a humanitarian doctor to treat those in hard hit counties, but has personal issues she believes she is over. All these characters create a fascinating storyline. Add in a hippy philanthropist and her young daughter as well as a Cape Cod community and you have an adventure that will entice you to visit Cape Cod, Massachusetts.

Nice romance, but one glaring flaw for me
Format: Kindle
This story had a nice romance, and the two main characters were likable with the exception of the one, not only never standing up for herself, but overlooking illegal acts because she’s too weak to stand up to her father. Outside of her relationship with her father and ex-husband her character was enjoyable. The book could have easily been four or five stars had it not been for one glaring flaw for me. The fact that Lance didn’t at least end up in jail for embezzlement makes my blood boil. Real life is far too full of mediocre men failing up! I don’t want to read about it in my romances novels as well. The two main male characters in this story were appalling and neither one of them ever had a single consequences for their actions! In my romance books, I want to see the “bad guys” get what’s coming to them.

likely my favorite read of this entire year
Format: Kindle
Noah Blue has finally made it to the big leagues with her webcomic's success, as she lands a full-time job at the company responsible for the relaunch of the cult classic Queen Leisah. The comic is expected to be a smash hit, with movie deals already in the works. Noah's career is taking off, but there's one obstacle standing in her way. Sage Montgomery's natural talent has brought her to the top of the charts for eight consecutive years. Although her career has hit a plateau, she believes that working on a high-profile, mainstream comic will help her breakthrough. She expected complete creative control over the Queen Leisah relaunch, but instead, she must share credit with an artist who has been her rival since college. This artist has a real chance of surpassing her in skill. Sage and Noah must put their rivalry aside and cooperate, or at least make it appear that way. They thought the biggest challenge would be working together, but the real challenge turned out to be falling in love. Touching her was like diving into a warm pool, the heat soothing yet close to being unbearable. I wanted more, but I wasn’t confident I'd be able to handle more. That I was worthy of more. This book was probably one of the cutest books I have ever read and I'm so glad that I picked it up so early in my 2024 reading year because now I get to spend the rest of 2024 shoving it at everyone I know because this is a book I need every person to read. If you look at my entire January wrap-up and decide to only take one of my recommendations, let it be this one. It will leave you feeling all of the things and I don’t know if there is a cuter couple than Noah and Sage. I'll start my talking points with Noah, a fellow people-pleaser who worries a lot internally about whether or not she belongs at her new job with people she sees as the best of the best. I related to her for the people-pleasing aspects and it broke my heart to hear how her family talked about her art career. I absolutely loved her personality and if I could have a fictional character go shopping with me and help me pick out outfits because her style and overall vibes were immaculate. I loved the realness of her struggle to the top and the reality of what pushing yourself like that can be like. And then there is Sage, the oldest daughter who is literally taking on the entirety of taking care of her family on her own shoulders and feeling like she needs to be in control of everything all of the time, also super relatable for me personally. Sage’s growth throughout this book was probably one of my favorite points. The healing journey that she goes on throughout was inspiring and really beautiful which had me emotional at times. I loved the realness of how burnout was spoken about throughout this book. And I especially loved the way that her bisexuality was talked about in the book and how it can feel like people expect you to just pick a side. This book really delivered the rivals-to-lovers aspect of things and I really appreciated the term rivals being used as opposed to enemies because it just fit them so much better. The way that they started in direct competition with one another only to realize it shouldn’t have been one to begin with and the two of them just rooting for each other even at the expense of their own losses was just absolutely beautiful. Their chemistry as a couple was off the chart and from start to finish I was rooting so hard for them. I appreciated how open and direct they were with their communication and how their friend group grew closer and helped along the way. Outdrawn was seriously so cute and I know I’ve already said it but I can’t help but use that word when describing this book. I definitely recommend it to literally everyone and cannot wait to read more of Deanna Grey’s books! - rivals to lovers - sapphic romance - bisexual rep - lesbian rep - Black romance - comic book artists main characters - workplace romance - banter for days - slow burn - lots of pining - opposites attract - grumpy/sunshine
