This hand poured resin wall art by Paul Marshall is hard to take your eyes off.  The blending of several techniques creates this stunning and unique piece.

The resin base is poured first using the highest grade "water clear" resin. Into this, acrylics, inks, pigments, and metallic mica's are added to create this stunning effect.  Smooth rounded edges like a mobile phone ooze elegance and sophistication. 

After this the wave form is added using crushed, hand coloured, recycled glass, metallic inks and clear resins. 

Paul has been in the art business for over 30 years and now specializes in both metal and resin wall art. Lockdown was the ideal opportunity to spend time in the studio refining techniques and creating new designs. Inspiration comes from his love of being in, on, or around water,  bringing flowing symmetrical designs.

   

This artwork has an aluminium base for strength and rigidity, backed with a 40mm carrier frame, which invisibly "floats" the artwork away from your wall creating a subtle shadow.    

*Please note* These pieces are hand poured and hand created,  so each one is different and unique to you. The colourway will be the same as the images shown, and the pattern in the resin is as unique as your finger print. 

You can totally customise this piece to your requirements, either size, shape, colours.  Custom sizing for an individual piece can go upto 1.8 x 3M.  Please contact to discuss.  

Weight wise this resin metal wall art is perfectly safe to hang on any style of wall, with the correct wall fixings.  40 x 150cm weighs 12Kg,  75 x 190cm weighs 20Kgs.  Delivered with hangers fitted.

A familiar story, just with…..less.

So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.
