"Desde hace varios años he tenido el privilegio de desarrollar una serie de instrumentos para las Estudiantinas del país vasco en Francia, principalmente a través de Philippe Boisson, mi entusiasta amigo y desinteresado colaborador, así como también de Christian y Serge Laborde, Dominique Gouarniere, Michel Claudio, José Arrizabalaga; Martine Redon y tantos otros.-

Este Cuatro Master (pieza única) lo hice en agradecimiento a esa confianza depositada en mi trabajo y he incorporado en su diseño algunos elementos identificatorios de su orgullosa cultura, tales como el "Lauburu" (la famosa cruz vasca decuatro cabezas y trazos curvilíneos) en la roseta; también se incorporaron los colores rojo, verde y blanco de la "Ikurriña" (bandera de la comunidad vasca) en los filetes y en otras partes del instrumento.-

Tiene la tapa en pino abeto alemán; fondo, laterales, golpera y chapilla clavijero en arce europeo; trastera y puente de palosanto de la India; clavijas cromadas de precisión.-"
