For polo logos on KIMDOOSKY machines, a 5-inch MaggieFrame magnetic hoop is ideal for compact designs and chest placement. If your designs include stacked text or need slightly more area, a 7-inch hoop adds flexibility without sacrificing control. Both hoop sizes offer strong magnetic grip to ensure smooth, mark‑free embroidery results.
Do you offer any accessory to work with this frame for positioning on garments?
Yes, MaggieFrame provides the HoopTalent hooping station, designed to match our magnetic hoops. It allows precise and quick placement of fabrics, helping improve productivity on KIMDOOSKY KD‑CT1201S or KD‑ECT1210 embroidery machines. Other hooping fixtures may not align perfectly, so using HoopTalent ensures optimal frame positioning accuracy.
When using this magnetic frame, should the stabilizer be placed inside the frame or floated outside?
For most embroidery tasks on KIMDOOSKY models, we recommend sandwiching the stabilizer with the fabric inside the MaggieFrame hoop for maximum tension and crisp stitching. Floating the stabilizer beneath the hoop works well for thicker materials or structured garments. Both methods maintain the magnetic hoop’s even pressure and consistent embroidery quality.
Does the size in the product title refer to the hoop dimension or the actual embroidery field?
The size listed, such as 3.9″ × 12.8″ (100 × 320 mm), represents the MaggieFrame inner dimension rather than the full embroidery field. We advise leaving about a 0.75 cm margin along each edge to avoid needle contact with the hoop. This ensures stable magnetic hold and excellent stitching performance across all KIMDOOSKY machine models.
