The Vega Carbon represents the latest top-level road racing shoe engineered from the sole up to prioritize performance for peloton-leading riders and professional racers. Built with a highly stiff integrated carbon outsole, an innovative ultra-breathable upper construction, a revised anatomical shape, and a more ergonomic fit, the Vega satisfies every demand for lightness, high performance, and efficient power transfer. It has been specifically designed to complement modern race-bike geometries, rider positions, and evolving riding styles.

A NATURAL, NEW SHAPE

As bike geometry and rider positioning have shifted in recent years, the points of contact between cyclists and their bikes have evolved as well. In response, the Vega introduces an entirely new shoe shape with a straighter axis and reduced drop to deliver a more natural pedaling sensation. The expanded toe box provides additional space, allowing the foot to fully stretch, enhancing ergonomics and improving comfort during high-intensity efforts—whether in stage races or weekly training sessions.

OUTSOLE ON THE INSIDE

Equipped with an integrated full-carbon outsole, the Vega delivers exceptional stiffness while minimizing stack height. This advanced construction places the outsole on the inside of the shoe, concealed beneath the upper, which reduces cleat-area stack height and ensures full ergonomic medial foot support. The anatomical shape and reduced drop enhance stability, maximize support, and improve power transfer efficiency.

FIT, FABRICS, AND FEATURES

The upper of the Vega incorporates strategic material mapping, deploying different materials where specific performance characteristics are required—ventilation in high-heat zones and support in areas where stability matters most. Aeroweave woven fabric is paired with an ultra-thin translucent mesh, creating a lighter shoe without sacrificing durability. Complementing this is a perforated Airprene bootie that wraps the foot to provide comfort and a pressure-free fit, suitable for both race days and demanding mountain rides.

ADJUST TO COMFORT

For precision adjustment, the Vega employs a Dual-Dial Li2 BOA® Fit System. This system allows separate control of the instep and midfoot, with two BOA® dials connected to supportive panels that wrap around the medial side of the foot. The result is a fully customizable fit that adapts to the cyclist’s unique foot shape, ensuring long-lasting comfort and reliable support.
