Gakogama 雅幸窯 is a symbol of the tradition of Hasami-yaki pottery, with its high level of traditional techniques and hand-painting skills. Among them, this "Hajiki-Ume" is a vessel in which the tradition of Hasami-yaki is condensed.

As the name suggests, the plum blossoms are beautifully painted. The plum pattern is beautifully "hajime" (flicked), and the shading is done by a unique technique called "dami" (dark and light). Each piece goes through a variety of processes and is handcrafted by artisans.
