The Stag S Range were produced between 1960 and 1963, after which time it was discontinued due to a lack of commercial success. A scarcely seen 1950s large 'S' range sideboard designed by John & Sylvia Reid for Stag Furniture, retailed through Heals. The Stag S Range were produced between 1960 and 1963, after which time it was discontinued due to a lack of commercial success. This range has not been reissued or reproduced, so you know you are getting a genuine vintage piece.
**Please Note** At the time of listing we also have the matching small sideboard that can be configured to create one large piece if desired, we also have an oval extending 'S range' table and six S320 chairs that came as a complete suite from the same original owner.
– Superb restored condition
Featuring iconic nickel-plated V-shaped legs & L-shaped handles. The handles were all custom made and are recessed neatly on the top of the drawer and door fronts. All the internal surfaces are veneered with beech, creating a strong contrast with the darker teak exterior. The piece has a true modernist aesthetic, way ahead of its time!
Complete with the three original trays (two with blue baize lining) one pull out shelf and four drawers which include the original cutlery tray.
Superb restored condition, no major marks or damage, original black strip in tact, no ring marks, there may be some minor polished in marks as to be expected for its age, please take a look at the photographs for more detail.
