Our Thread Pick ‘Em Stack can be used as a refill set or stand alone pack of 3 if you have tweezers.   They are designed as a support for those that delight in 'extraction' & and/or struggle with picking & pulling hair out. Can also be a support for those struggling with trichotillomania.  Those that have tried them in the sample phase have been surprised at how long & satisfying the 'extraction process' of pulling out the fibres actually is!   We have intentionally designed their size as a small, portable tool for anywhere use.

The immersive experience involves focus, digging, resistance, satisfaction & (personally speaking) sheer delight.  Warning: can be hard to stop once starting grin.  See videos of it in action also. Hands get a good work out, so helpful to rest from time to time.  Great for mindfulness, regulation and calming.

The set contains both polyester threads and Japanese nylon fishing line.  Designed to mimic pulling out hair.  The two materials give different levels of 'tug' or  resistance when extracted.  The polyester thread can fray and break) in the process, adding to the 'surgical like' procedure of getting it ALL out.  The nylon fishing line feels like pulling an ingrown hair out.  rubbing along the sides you can often feel the ends of the nylon, quite like hairs on a chin lol.

"Just wanted to send a quick message to say your fidgets are life-changing, thank you for making amazing, affordable harm minimisation tools. I am especially pleased with the thread puller  March 2025"

"These are a great resource for people that struggle with Trichotillomania, but also for ASD fidgeting as well. Brittany March 2025"

This stack comes with 3 discs - each with different threads & levels of ‘pull’.

Disc 1 :    2 fibres in 1 – both polyester thread & Japanese fishing line.

Disc 2 :  vibrant rainbow polyester cord.  Great resistance as you pull out & leaves the most noticeable 'hole' on removal.

Disc 3 :  fine nail art thread fibres that provide less resistance but more challenge as you try dig and pull out. They are partial to breaking, creating opportunity for more digging and effort.

Each of the silicone discs contain items with purpose in mind. In addition to being pure JOY for many, there is a more serious side to this genuine sensory seeking behaviour.    Picking skin & hair pulling can be a form of stimming sometimes referred to as  body-focused repetitive behaviour & super common, especially for those, like me, that are neurodivergent. It can be a sensory self-regulation behaviour, stim or part of repetitive ‘loop’. It can lead to compromised skin, bald patches, risk of infection, scars, shame and distress.   It can also be a challenge to stop, even when harmful. Which is why we have a focus on having a range of tools to assist in supporting this sensory need.

Likely not to suit those that struggle with imperfection or sensory issues with holes, as once removed the threads & stones (the other refill stack available) leave holes.  Trypophobia is an aversion or repulsion to objects like honeycombs and sponges that have repetitive patterns or clusters of small holes.

We have a Pick 'Em Starter Set & also a Natural Stone Pick 'Em Stack sold separately.

Value for your money
Style: EcoFetch
It's definitely different from the one I lost. It's taking me some time how to throw the ball correctly. It's a hit and miss but we are getting there. When I do get a good throw, it really wings it out there.

The perfect toy for dogs!
Style: The Duo
This is perfect when you have 2 dogs who love to play Fetch! They no longer have to chase after the same ball! The balls that come with it are very sturdy, and the launcher sends both balls far enough away so that both dogs get plenty of exercise. It’s definitely worth the price!
