MILITARY GRADE PROTECTION

Part of the U.S. Military's Extended Cold Weather Clothing System providing waterproof, windproof, Military Spec protection.

When freezing rain, driving snow, and bitter wind are part of the job, the H2O Proof Gen II ECWCS Parka keeps you dry, warm, and operational. This isn't fashion outerwear — it's a 3-layer waterproof shell engineered to military specifications and trusted by Soldiers, Law Enforcement, and First Responders in extreme environments.

Why Operators Choose This Parka

  • 100% Waterproof Construction — 3-layer windproof/waterproof/breathable shell with Bemis-taped seams at every stitch point. No needle holes, no leaks. The Dintex™ inner lining adds a second waterproof barrier while allowing vapor to escape.
  • Non-Freezing Zipper — The two-way zipper operates reliably below 0°F, backed by a double storm flap for complete wind and moisture protection.
  • Zip in Liner Compatible — Fleece zip-in liner for this parka, adds serious warmth without bulk Polar Fleece Jacket Liner - $49.95 - Add Zip-in liner for this parka
  • Complete Adjustability — Drawcord hood, adjustable sleeve cuffs, and waist cinch let you lock out moisture and dial in your fit over armor, fleece, or base layers.
  • Breathable Under Load — Underarm ventilation zippers dump heat when you're working hard, preventing the sweat buildup that makes you cold later.
The secret is the high quality, environmentally safe Bemis seam tapes. Seam tape is the critical link in the chain of waterproof protection

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What does ECWCS stand for?
A: ECWCS stands for Extended Cold Weather Clothing System — a layered system developed by the U.S. Army for temperatures from -60°F to +40°F. This Gen 2 parka is the waterproof outer shell layer.
Q: Does a fleece liner come with this parka?
A: No — the fleece liner is sold separately. However, this parka is designed to accept the Tru-Spec Polar Fleece Jacket as a zip-in liner for complete cold weather protection.
Q: Is this actual military-issue gear?
A: This is commercial Tru-Spec production built to military specifications — not surplus. It uses the same construction, materials, and seam tape technology as military-issue ECWCS. Tru-Spec is a major supplier to U.S. military and law enforcement.
Q: What's the difference between Gen 1 and Gen 2?
A: Gen 2 features improved 3-layer waterproof/breathable material, a stowable hood (Gen 1 had fixed), underarm vents, and Bemis seam tape. Gen 2 is lighter and more breathable.

You Get What You Pay For! A Piece Of Junk!
Size: 1 Panel
Flimsy and a piece of junk. Don’t waste your money. Assembly is a pain because it is so flimsy. Divider is thin. You can see right through it. Very wobbly.

Instructions are useless
Size: 1 Panel
The instructions are poorly written and not very helpful. The divider itself is easy to assemble, and honestly, it would’ve been quicker if I had skipped the directions altogether. Once put together, though, it works as intended.

This was the best
Size: 1 Panel
This divider is great for creating a little privacy or separating a small area without taking up much space. The fabric is thick enough to block visual clutter, and the frame is lightweight but stable once it’s opened. It folds flat for storage, which is convenient if you only need it occasionally. Assembly was straightforward, and it was the perfect size. It’s a practical piece for apartments, studios, or home offices where you want a quick, temporary partition.

Good privacy screen
Size: 1 Panel, Size: 1 Panel
This is a good privacy screen that's easy to assemble and looks nice. Be a little careful moving it, as the corners can twist. It's sturdy once in place, and the thick material is completely opaque. If the folds bother you, you might want to iron it, but I'm happy with it as is.

Lightweight divider that works well for video call backgrounds
Size: 1 Panel
This divider works fine for what it is, but it’s definitely on the lightweight side. Setup was very easy and only took a few minutes. The frame is fairly light, so it’s easy to move around or reposition if needed. That said, the tradeoff is that it’s not especially sturdy. It stands fine on its own but I wouldn’t expect it to handle much bumping or movement. I mainly bought it to use as a background for Zoom calls when I’m working from my den, and for that purpose it works great. The fabric panel blocks the room behind me and gives a cleaner background on camera. It’s not huge though. To keep the camera from seeing around it, I have to position it directly behind my chair. If you’re expecting it to divide a large room or create a big privacy barrier, it may feel a bit small. Overall, it does the job and works well for temporary setups or video call backgrounds, but the lightweight frame keeps it from feeling like a premium divider. The product description and photos are accurate.
