Precision, performance, and playability — these are the cornerstones of the design philosophy behind Ibanez SR Prestige bass guitars. Here, we're fortunate to get our hands on the finest instruments that come to market, and we can confidently say that Ibanez SR Prestige basses deliver on all three counts — and then some. Take the Prestige SR4500. With its deep cutaways that let you freely access the highest register, this instrument’s lightweight, sleekly contoured body fits you like a glove, and the neck — well, let’s just say that SR Prestige necks are justifiably famous for their high-speed maneuverability. And the electronics are equally impressive. Blending old-world Japanese craftsmanship with high-tech manufacturing techniques, this Ibanez SR Prestige bass is a playable work of art — and a wise investment that will pay dividends every time you take the stage or enter the studio.

Massive tone from Nordstrand pickups

With its “super-packed” coil, the Big Single is considered by Nordstrand to be the tonal giant of its pickup offerings. Ibanez spec’d a pair of these aggressive-sounding single-coil monsters for the SR Prestige. In addition, you have the powerful sound-shaping capabilities of Ibanez’s Sonitech preamp. This custom preamp ensures a strong and clear signal that drives long cable runs and complex effects chains, but it also includes an active 3-band EQ that gives you control over boost/cut for bass, mid, and high frequencies, plus a mid-frequency switch to fine-tune your midrange. Along with a master volume and pickup blend control, this instrument’s superb electronics let you quickly dial the perfect tone for any occasion. Fingers, thumb, or pick — the Ibanez SR Prestige has you covered.

Ibanez: guitar and bass powerhouse

Ibanez’s obsessive attention to detail has made the company a global guitar and bass powerhouse, but it didn’t happen overnight. Ibanez began its life in 1908 as the Hoshino Gakki company in Nagoya, Japan. However, the company didn’t get into the guitar business until 1929, when it started importing Salvador Ibanez guitars from Spain. In 1935, Hoshino Gakki began building Spanish acoustic guitars under the “Ibanez Salvador” name, which was later shortened to Ibanez. Although Ibanez started manufacturing electric guitars in 1957, the company was relatively unknown in the West until the 1960s, when it started producing guitars based on American designs. By the late 1970s, Ibanez began manufacturing the innovative, original guitar and bass designs that the company is now known for. The company is also famous for its effect pedals, most notably the Tube Screamer. We are proud to offer you such a fine line of distinguished musical instruments.

Basic mouse that works - - for now.
Size: 1 Pack, Style: USB Receiver, Color: Blue
I ordered this mouse (in blue) to replace the recently deceased exact same model that I've used for the past 2 or 3 years. I like the simplicity of the M185 mouse and mostly the best bang for your buck! I caught this one on sale for less than a ten-spot, so I thought, "why not." I'm hoping that this one will last a bit longer than my two previous M185 models, that averaged about 3 years each. This model seems plagued by a short life span and is predisposed to mysteriously and suddenly dying, without any obvious symptoms or warning of any kind - - you're working and clicking along, going about your day, when suddenly the cursor on the computer screen freezes and that's it. Nothing, zero, nada. Funny thing, I'm very careful not to abuse or drop the mouse, and keep a fresh battery installed and watch for leakage and all that stuff - - they just stop working, and I assume it is caused by some sort of inherent electronic fault in the circuitry of the previous M185's. Due to my loyalty to the brand and model (and since it was on sale) I decided to give it one more shot. They say that "third time's a charm". I like the fact that the M185 is simple and uncluttered with extra buttons that I would never use for my purpose, which is simple web-browsing and the occasional text document production. The feel is solid, not heavy, but not cheap feeling, either. I'm used to the shape of this mouse, which to me is quite comfortable for long sessions, another reason why I kind of wanted to stay with this model. The buttons have an audible "click", which doesn't bother me at all, and the wheel moves smoothly and also has a clicking operation (which I rarely ever use). The overall surface of the mouse has a matte finish, but like my previous models I'm sure it will eventually wear shiny spots where my fingers reside and will attain a more "well-used" look in time. Connecting it was a breeze, too. I just plugged the dongle into a spare rear usb port of my desktop, and the mouse connected instantly, no problem. The dongle can be stored safely inside the battery compartment, so you can take the whole thing out of the house if needed for use elsewhere. The speed of 1000 dpi seems just right for my purposes. The one I ordered even came with its own AA Duracell battery, which I wasn't really expecting. This mouse also enters "sleep mode" when you don't use it for a while, and I can't say how many times I've got up and left it on all night. And that's not hard to do, as I'll explain next. The only real negative to this mouse is the absence of any easily visible status indicator of it's on / off switch. The rear housing of this mouse is matte black, including the tiny switch where you turn it on and off with your fingernail, with only a very faint "on" lettering (also black), and very hard to see with my aging eyes. The laser is not lighted or visible when on, also adding to the confusion, especially in a darkened room. So, as a workaround, I took a tiny drop of green paint and placed it down inside the switch slider to visibly help indicate the "on" position, and likewise a dot of bright orange for the "off" position. Many of Logitech's more expensive models (and a few other manufacturers) include this color-coded switch indication. I guess for the $$, they had to cut corners somewhere - - a minor complaint. In summary, this is a good basic mouse that works - - let's hope that this one will last longer than its two predecessors.

High Quality and Operability - Great!
Great mouse! Not only good, but feels and operates as well as, or better than a Microsoft mouse, and a lot more reasonable! Comes with AAA batteries, the USB transceiver is stored inside the battery compartment (good when packing and traveling), and a white support strap lays down below the installed batteries so that it is easier to remove them when its time to change the battery. Be sure to go into Control Panel/Mouse and make any click-speed or mouse movement adjustments to your liking. I plan on buying another one of these for my second HP laptop. The USB transceiver is immediately responsive and you will see a red laser at the bottom of the mouse.

Works Perfect, No Installation Needed, Perfect Size, and Wonderful Price!
Several months ago when the keys on my laptop mouse pad started to go out, I was really irritated because I have gotten so used to using the mouse pad that I was worried that I wouldn't be able to work as efficiently using a wireless mouse. I knew that it would only be a few days before the keys got to the point that I wouldn't be able to use them and started looking on Amazon for a wireless mouse that I might possibly be able to stand using on a daily basis. I spotted the AmazonBasics Wireless Mouse and thought that it wouldn't be that great because it was way cheaper than most of the other wireless ones that I could find. I went ahead and placed my order because I needed something and thought that if it didn't work that well, I wouldn't be out of that much money. When it arrived, I was happy to see that it was a tad bit smaller than other ones that I have used with desktops in the past since I have small hands. I opened the package, popped in some batteries, plugged the nano receiver into my USB slot, and it was working instantly. I thought that it would take some time to install ( I did not read much on it when I purchased it honestly, I just needed one quick!), but was SO happy to see that it needed nothing to be installed. I have been using this wireless mouse for about a year and half now and I have recommended it to SO many people who were looking for one. I work at home on my laptop 7 days a week and anywhere between 12 - 18 hours a day. I only have to change the batteries about once every two months (sometimes it will go a little longer and sometimes a little bit less - not sure on why though). This mouse has worked flawlessly since the day of purchase and I was SO wrong to think that because it was cheaper than the others that it wouldn't work as well. There has never been a time where it disconnected from the computer or that there was any issue using it. A few times when it has needed the batteries changed and I wait a few days, there is a tiny lag - but that is all my fault. The AmazonBasics Wireless Mouse has a little red indicator light that lets you know when the batteries are getting low and need to be changed. I like that feature so that I'm always aware of when they need to be changed. Since I travel a lot, this mouse is great because it doesn't take up a lot of space in the laptop bag. I also never have to worry about losing the nano receiver because once you remove the little door to the battery area, there is actually a space that the nano receiver clicks into making it perfect for travel. If you are in the market for a great wireless mouse, I would recommend the AmazonBasics Wireless Mouse because it has been through over a year of my all day, everyday use and still works just like the day that I purchased it!

It works and is well priced.
This mouse works as well as much higher-priced brand-name items. It fits well in the hand. The durability is very good. Considering the price compared to other brand names, this is a very good value.

Solid Everyday Mouse with a Few Comfort Trade-Offs
I’ve been using this Amazon Basics 2.4 GHz wireless optical mouse as a simple, no-frills option, and overall it does exactly what it’s supposed to do. Setup was instant with the USB nano receiver, tracking is accurate, and the wireless connection has been reliable with no dropouts or lag during daily use. It’s lightweight and works well for general browsing and office tasks. Where it falls a bit short for me is ergonomics. Compared to my Logitech mouse, this one doesn’t feel quite as natural or contoured in the hand during longer sessions. It’s by no means uncomfortable, just not as refined in terms of hand fit. That said, for the price and simplicity, it’s a dependable mouse that gets the job done. A solid choice if you want something basic and reliable.
