A striking reclaimed school laboratory cabinet with beech carcass and contrasting Iroko/Sapele top and drawer/doors. We rescued this beautiful piece from the science department in a School in Birmingham where it had been since the school was first built in the 1950s.
In excellent restored condition, the doors have been refitted with new roller catches to ensure each door will stay closed.
The piece has a lovely patina, with lots of marks and scratches as to be expected for its age, this only enhances the character of the piece, please see photographs for more detail.
