This is a genuine Oceanic marine passage light, reclaimed from working vessel use and built from solid brass. It was designed for ship corridors, companionways and exposed working areas, where fittings had to be tough, reliable and easy to maintain.

The protective cage, cast brass body and simple industrial form make it a brilliant wall light for interiors that need something real rather than reproduction nautical decoration. It has the warmth of brass, but still feels like a working object.
