Written entirely by Zombie and co-produced with Scott Humphrey, the album combines industrial metal, groove-heavy riffs, and horror film samples in a darkly cinematic style that pays tribute to vintage exploitation and monster movies.

Recorded primarily in California, the sessions featured contributions from John Tempesta, Blasko, and Mike Riggs, blending live instrumentation with digital production techniques. Tracks like “Dragula,” “Living Dead Girl,” and “Superbeast” became staples of late-90s metal, fueled by pulsing electronic rhythms and Zombie’s theatrical vocals.
