Description

Endtables - S/T [Louisville Punk 1979] - New 12"The Endtables by The Endtables The Endtables were one of the first punk bands in Louisville, KY. They were around for less than two years from late '78 to mid '80 but have cast a long shadow ever since. They recorded very little; enough for two extremely rare releases. "I'd like to lead one more chorus of hosannas for the reissue of the Endtables' self titled EP. This is is a record that I haven't tired of not a bit. How is that possible? I'm afraid

The Endtables were one of the first punk bands in Louisville, KY. They were around for less than two years – from late '78 to mid-'80 – but have cast a long shadow ever since. They recorded very little; enough for two extremely rare releases.

"I'd like to lead one more chorus of hosannas for the reissue of the Endtables' self-titled EP. This is is a record that I haven't tired of- not a bit. How is that possible? I'm afraid that the ability to explain such a thing is beyond my powers of analysis. For me, this will always be one of those perfect records (see also, from the DC-family catalog, Corky's Debt to His Father and the Circle X EP). It's the sound of the damn thing. It's the chilliness of Steve Rigot's vocals, and it's the wild, blazing interjections of Alex Durig's guitar playing."

This 12" includes the 4 songs from their 1979 7" EP: "Process Of Elimination"; "The Defectors"; "They're Guilty"; "Circumcision."

+ "White Glove Test" and "Trick or Treat"

All songs recorded September 1979 at Reel To Reel Studio.

Seminal Louisville, Kentucky punk band, fronted by flamboyant giant Steve Rigot. When original bass player Joe Frey left for New York City, guitarist Alex Durig taught his 15-year-old brother Albert to play bass. In September 1979, this lineup of Rigot, Durig, Durig, and drummer Steven Jan Humphrey recorded six songs at local studio Real to Reel with engineer Jeff Carpenter. The band self-released four of the six songs on a 7" late that year and then split in the spring of 1980. Steve Rigot and Steven Jan Humphrey went on to form Monsters (4) and the Durigs started Melusian. The Endtables reunited for a single show in 1984.

Size: Medium, Color: Royal Blue, Size: Medium, Color: Royal Blue
The suit is amazing!! I just hate it arrived 3 days before prom after being delayed twice. It fit my son great, the blue was exactly as shown. It was not wrinkled or funny smelling at all. The material was very good and it will last a while. My son is 5’11, 150lbs, size medium

Misleading
Size: Small, Color: Brown
This is a very horrible material and poorly made suit, I have never bought anything this bad in amazon before, the crazy thing is that I returned this thing to get a refund and they shipped back the exact same garbage back to me. I clearly do not like anything about it, this is a misleading advert
