The role of creatine

Creapure® vs generic creatine monohydrate

Creapure® is the purest (99.9%) creatine monohydrate available. Alzchem Trostberg GmbH produces Creapure® in a specialised facility in Germany. The production is carefully controlled from start to finish, with very strict manufacturing and quality standards. Every batch is tested for by-products such as creatinine, dicyandiamide (DCD), and dihydrotriazine (DHT). Thanks to the sarcosinate and cyanamide production method, DCD is just 10 ppm (parts per million), and DHT is undetectable.

Creatine made using a water-based production process

Standard creatine is often made via chemical reactions with hydrochloric acid or sulphuric acid. These acids play a role in the traditional production process of creatine monohydrate. Although this method does not leave acid residues in the final product, these chemicals are part of the production.
In contrast, Creapure® uses a patented process without acids, with water as the base. As a result, Creapure® contains minimal impurities and is considered one of the purest forms on the market.
