We've spent time with the Divinity in our own system. We agree with Steve's assessment.

The Architecture

24-bit R2R ladder DAC with high-precision, low-jitter OCXO clock. The OCXO (oven-controlled crystal oscillator) maintains extreme frequency stability regardless of temperature — the same technology used in the highest-end digital equipment. R2R ladder conversion prioritizes timing accuracy and musical naturalness over the measurement-optimization that delta-sigma chips are designed around.

Built-in volume control makes the Divinity capable of driving a power amplifier directly — no preamplifier required. Large OLED display is readable from 10-15 feet, which matters in a real listening room. Solid aluminum chassis throughout.

The System

Pair the Divinity with the Garlubidor Fairyland power amplifier and you have a complete, preamplifier-free digital system: streamer into the Divinity, volume at the DAC, directly into the Fairyland. We've heard this combination and it punches significantly above its combined price.
