When the fruit is fully ripened, it is very fibrous. You can strip the skin and use the inside parts-loofah sponge. Loofah likes sunshine, fertilizer, water. Keeping soil moist, it will grow up well. You will receive a well-rooted plant in a 4" pot. Similar and bigger than picture!
