The CL Pocket binoculars are waterproof and designed to withstand rapid changes in temperature so you can enjoy observing subjects wherever you are. 

OPTICAL PERFORMANCE

The Swarovski CL Pocket 8x25 Binoculars have a 6.8° field of view, offering a generous wide image for a 25mm objective lens. As well as an 8x magnification and 2.5m close focusing distance so you can observe subjects up close.

Prisms feature a reflective SWAROBRIGHT prism coating, and lenses feature an anti-reflective SWAROTOP lens coating that both work to significantly reduce the effects of glare to fully optimise clarity, colour representation, and contrast. A SWARODUR coating has been applied to the elements to protect the exterior lens surfaces from marks and scratches.

ERGONOMIC HANDLING

Swarovski have designed the compact Swarovski CL Pocket 8x25 Binoculars with long periods of birdwatching in mind. For ultimate comfort, these binoculars feature twist-up eyecups to ensure comfortable use for both glasses and non-glasses wearers. As well as long 17mm eye relief and 3.1mm of eye relief for hours and hours of strain-free viewing.

CL Pocket Binoculars have a +5 right eye dioptric correction and 50-74mm interpupillary adjustment range to assist both children and adults. The focus wheel is centred with raised ridges so you can control the focus easily with your fingertips.

DURABLE DESIGN

Built to be rugged and durable, the Swarovski CL Pocket 8x25 features a durable aluminium alloy chassis which ensures the housing acts as strong as metal whilst also being lightweight. Cased in a protective rubber armouring with textured palm pads, you can hold these binoculars with a firm grip to prevent slipping during observations.

Weighing only 345g, these CL Pocket binoculars are highly portable, fitting perfectly in your hand for optimum viewing comfort.

The Swarovski CL Pocket 8x25 binoculars feature dual hinges on the bridge to ensure the optical tubes fold tightly underneath for easy portability.

The CL Pocket is fully sealed and nitrogen filled, making them fully waterproof. These binoculars can be fully submerged in up to 13ft/4m of water, providing protection against moisture in challenging environments and from dust particles getting into the internal system. So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.

I love this type of story. And omegaverse is one of my all time favorite genres. But there are a few things that pulled me out of my enjoyment while I was reading. It was repetitive at times as well as struggled with telling not showing. So we didn’t always feel like we were experiencing things with the main character. There were also some plot holes but they may still be answered in part 2. Now this isn’t to be said I didn’t enjoy parts of the story. I loved the almost instant love between Mila and Oliver. And how he started changing around her.
