Charming mid-century vintage platinum engagement ring and wedding band set.  The engagement ring is set with a 0.55 carat old European cut diamond.  The band and the shoulder of the the engagement ring are accented with eleven single cut diamonds.  The engagement ring is engraved with initials and the date 6.5.62 and the wedding band is engraved with the same initials and the date 10.13.62.

The engagement ring measures 5.55 mm wide at the head, rises 5.38 mm above the finger and gently tapers to 1 mm wide and 0.92 mm wide at the back.  

DIAMONDS:
Old European cut centre diamond 0.55 carats, VS1 clarity, G colour with a very good cut (5.31 x 5.33).
Eleven single cut diamonds, 0.30 carats total weight, SI-I clarity, G-H colour with a med-fair cut (2 to 1.8 mm).  Three of the small diamonds are slightly chipped which is common for vintage pieces.  The chips are visible under magnification not to the naked eye and don't effect the beauty of the set in my opinion.  I chose to leave this piece in original vintage condition but I am happy to replace the three small chipped diamonds at no additional charge if you prefer.  Just let me know when placing the order.

SIZE: US size 5.25 and can be resized for a nominal fee.
