The Italtrike Passenger trike is a tricycle designed with a nostalgic look and retro colours, offering a classic vibe along with practical parent control. It's ideal for any journey, being fully equipped to assist with balance before moving on to pedalling skills.
The Passenger features a rear push parent handle and is excellent for training stability on three wheels as an adult can push the trike using the front "freewheel." The Italtrike Passenger Tricycle also aids in coordinating the circular movement of the legs together with the arms.
It is built with a durable steel frame and chrome-plated handlebars, and it boasts an ergonomic seat that can be adjusted in three positions. The wheels are anti-puncture and very robust. The front wheel comes equipped with a "freewheel" system allowing children to rest their feet on the pedals when being pushed without the pedals spinning and bumping their legs. Once children gain the confidence to ride independently, this wheel can be locked to function as a classic trike wheel, enabling them to pedal forward, brake, and pedal backwards.
Additional features include a rear storage compartment for carrying all the essentials needed for new adventures and a handbrake on the right side that is easy for kids to reach and fun to use. Other details include a rear bucket storage, a removable push bar for when kids progress, a rear handbrake, a large adjustable seat, and a 10" front wheel.
This trike is suggested for ages 2 to 5 years, with a maximum suggested user weight of 25 kg. The saddle height is set at 33 cm, with the overall height from the ground at 56 cm and a width of 45 cm.
