Prescription Glasses Sunglasses SUN SMITH for Cataract or/and Glaucoma, Optic Nerve Atrophy, Age Related Macular Degeneration, Diabetic Retinopathy, Retinitis Pigmentosa

Principle

To address the needs of people with various visual impairments, such as colour vision defects and severe light sensitivity in patients with glaucoma, cataract, age related macular degeneration, pigmentary retinopathy, diabetic retinopathy, etc. LESA France offers a full range of special absorptive therapeutic filters developed specifically for low vision applications. A cataract is a clouding of the crystalline lens. A sort of fog is created in front of the eye. The decline in visual acuity is progressive. Glaucoma is often associated with high intraocular pressure inside the eye, slowly destroying the optic nerve. This gradually leads to a deterioration of the peripheral visual field. Often painless, it can lead to permanent blindness if left untreated. Age related macular degeneration or AMD is a genetically transmissible disease and is responsible for an increasing number of cases of low vision. Condition affects the macular region, the area which enables us to see objects in central vision. A slight visual discomfort at first, more or less then gradually the lesion increases to form a central spot to form a central spot - scotoma. Near vision rapidly becomes difficult. Pigmentary retinopathy is a genetic disease that attacks the photoreceptor cells of the retina. The field of vision becomes tubular - central vision only. Retinopathy gradually leads to blindness. Diabetes leads to the appearance of lesions on the retina. This is known as diabetic retinopathy. It leads to a progressive loss in visual acuity.

Studies have shown that prolonged exposure to solar UV radiation increases the risk of developing and progressing cataracts by 25-30%. UV light is harmful to the eye, but it has been shown that blue light also has a harmful effect. These are the short, energetic waves of daylight. When it enters the eye, its diffusion creates a kind of deformation of the image on the retina, leading to a reduction in contrast. The purpose of the filters is to suppress the spectrum of UV and blue light to make vision more comfortable by reducing sensitivity to glare and increasing contrast vision and acuity. The filter will select the wavelengths that can enter the eye.

Different tints for cataract are available, providing improved contrast sensitivity and enhanced eye protection from harmful light by filtering UV light until 400 nm and some visible spectrum wavelengths from 400 to 511-527 nm.

You can use sunglasses as standard non-refractive sunglasses for prevention of cataract formation, before or after cataract surgery, sunglasses are available in different sun protection categories from 1 (indoor, cloudy weather) to 3-4 (outdoor, sunny) and tints. Category 4 - not suitable for driving!

Pastel tones:

Softness and lightness with pastel colours such as 511C0 (cataract and/or glaucoma, AMD, DR, optic nerve atrophy). Shades that are very popular for indoor use.

Classic range:

Mysteris 511 (cataract and/or glaucoma, AMD, DR, optic nerve atrophy), Perfect 527 (cataract and/or glaucoma, retinitis pigmentosa), all these shades cut the blue light diffusing the eye, and actively help to improve vision for the visually impaired.

New outdoor models:

The classic 527 (cataract and/or glaucoma, retinitis pigmentosa) tint now available in different solar categories!

Filter category: medium-wavelength filtering (MWF) glasses

Origin: France

I am very impressed!
This little frother is perfect and my frappé coffee tastes as if I were sitting at one of the hundreds cute, outside cafés in Thessaloniki. It whips stiff coffee foam in just a few seconds, holds charge for a long time, and appears to be of superior quality. Variable speed control is great, as it prevents the coffee liquid to splash when starting the frothing process. Granted, I have only owned it for about 2 weeks, but I am totally impressed, and hope it'll keep making delicious frappés for me for a long time to come. So far, highly recommend!

Whips as good as my Nespresso Aerocino!
Love this frother. Whips milk as good as my Nespresso Aerocino! I have tried several that just made light foam, but this one is wonderful. And, rechargeable also. Charge lasts a very long time. Great for travel!

Solid Upgrade, Needs Color Variety
Replaced my old frother with this one and it's a solid step up. Seriously, better build quality, more features, and noticeably more control. The variable speed dial is genuinely useful. Being able to dial from low (protein powder, matcha) to high (thick cappuccino foam) feels like an actual upgrade. The three whisk attachments give you flexibility depending on what you're making, and the included stand is a nice touch. Helps keeps the coffee bar counter from getting cluttered. Battery life seems strong so far; one charge has lasted through multiple weeks of daily use without issue. Pros: - Variable speed dial works well across a real range (not just "low" and "high") - Three whisk heads included — good for different drink types - Stand included; compact and stays put on the counter Cons: - Singular color option. The mint green clashes with everything on my coffee bar setup; wish there were neutral alternatives. ANY alternatives! - Everyone may not like the price tag but it wasn't out of my budget and the included extra bits made it worth it for me. If your kitchen palette doesn't fight the mint green, this is a capable, well-built frother at a decent price.

Mixes matcha well
This is great for mixing matcha due to being able to adjust the speed and make it slower or faster. The stand is a great bonus.
