Product Information

The Arcticon is a freestanding bioethanol fireplace from the Polish manufacturer Planika which is one of the world’s leading manufacturers and developers of automatic and remote-controlled bioethanol fireplaces. 

The Arcticon is equipped with an automatic burner based on Planika’s patented BEV technology (Burning Ethanol Vapours) which evaporates the bioethanol before it is ignited, making it possible to adjust the flames and output of the fireplace. 

The flames of the fireplace are protected by three pieces of glass, that completely cover the flames from draught, small children, and curious pets.

The flames of the Arcticon can be adjusted in two levels by using the included remote control or the built-in control panel which is hidden behind the gate of the fireplace. 

Inside the fireplace is in addition the place from where you change/refill the fireplace with bioethanol. 

There is room for a 5 litre container filled with bioethanol which is enough for up to 33 hours of burn time.

The set-up process was a bit long because it involved a 14 minute ink cycle, but the instructions walk you through every step very clearly so there were no issues. Follow them and you will be up and running in about 25 minutes. It did not come with paper as represented so be sure you have some on hand. Amazing quality for the prints, I bought this trying to stay away from a modded (conversion from regular to sublimation) biased by the opinion of a friend who did the conversion, but the quality was poor, and after a few washes the color will start to fade, if not immediately, and also for tumblers the color wasn’t vibrant. With this one, the entire opposite, very friendly, fast to setup, worth every penny, you can print multiple designs, the ink level barely moves, until now, no problems or needing to shake it to keep it “alive” it’s just as simple as start print and go. Also the drivers included make sure the image is mirrored, the settings are sharp and ready to print. Very recommended (my wife loves it!!)
