The Thousand Islands is a 50 mile region at the headwaters of the St. Lawrence River with close to 2000 islands ranging is size from a few square feet to almost 50 square miles. It is a well-known tourist destination and is visited by 1000s of people every year. In addition to explaining the scenes in each view, the narration includes the early history of this resort destination.
