2-in-1 Mode for Richer Storytelling

The innovative 2-in-1 mode allows users to combine two vertical still images or videos into a single frame. This can be done directly in the camera, making it easy to create diptychs and storytelling sequences on the go. You can also create and refine these compositions using the dedicated X Half app, which offers additional editing tools such as divider adjustments and image swapping.

The Film Camera Mode is one of the most exciting features of the X Half. Users begin by selecting a film simulation and the number of exposures. As in traditional film photography, images cannot be reviewed until the full set of shots has been taken. Between each image, the user manually advances the frame using the top-mounted lever, enhancing the nostalgic experience. Once complete, the photos can be digitally developed using the X Half app.

With built-in Bluetooth, the X Half pairs effortlessly with the X Half app on your smartphone. You can transfer photos and videos, create and share 2-in-1 compositions, and print directly using instax Link printers.
