Deer Hunting Lodge Personalized Cabin Wall Decor - Custom Barrel Head

READY TO SHIP: Fill in our pre-designed template and take the hard part out of creating personalized cabin wall decor.  We're happy to provide a proof if requested in the order notes.  Otherwise, our trained designers will make sure your order looks great before sending it to print and ship by the next business day!

PURPOSE: Authentic bourbon barrel heads make a great base for personalized cabin wall decor. Truth be told, they're a great way to add rustic flair to any garage, basement, tavern or pub too. For the person who already has everything, get a unique piece of personalized cabin wall decor!

HISTORY: Our whiskey barrel heads come directly from Kentucky and Tennessee distilleries, so you'll likely receive one with a maker's mark. They were once used to make the best American whiskey and bourbon, so they will have a faint aroma and character to show for it.  As reclaimed pieces you'll be giving each piece of personalized cabin wall decor new life in your home bar, game room or garage.

CONSTRUCTION: Whiskey barrel heads are about 22 inches in diameter and come from reclaimed charred oak barrels. Prior to printing we secure a sturdy backer board to the bottom of the lid to make sure all the wood slats are held together as tightly as possible. Then we sand, print, and seal your personalized cabin wall decor for a lifetime of beauty.  We add a heavy-duty D-Ring to the back for instant display. Note - due to the real whiskey/bourbon aging process you'll usually see imperfections in the wood.

MADE IN USA: If you have more questions, please contact us. We would be happy to help you find the perfect piece of personalized cabin wall decor for you or a loved one.  As a proud American company we appreciate your business tremendously.

Find Out Who Was the Legal Secretary
    Format: Hardcover
I ordered this book after watching Nuremberg with Michael Shannon and Russell Crowe because I wanted to find out who was the woman accompanying Justice Jackson to Germany. Yes, that was not his wife, it was his legal secretary, Elsie Douglas. This book is the only source I could find that goes into any detail about their relationship. What it provides is nowhere near salacious, because it is evident that Jackson took his secrets to the grave. What details it does provide about the evident love triangle that existed in Jackson's life for many years is quite sufficient to explain the events of Nuremberg.

    Well written. Factual sloppiness.
    Format: Hardcover
Good insight into Jackson’s approach to the law. Thoroughly researched. Well written. However, Professor White made two egregious factual errors, both of which are an indication of sloppiness on his part, as well as that of his editors and peer reviewers. First, he refers to the World War 2 Chief of Naval Operations as the Secretary of the Navy. Second he states that Los Alamos National Laboratory is in California.

    Judging Jackson
    Format: Hardcover
Readers interested in FDR's era, the post-war Nuremberg Trial, and/or such important U.S. Supreme Court events as the Rosenberg spy case and Brown v. Board of Education will enjoy this well-researched book. Illuminating insights as to the characters of his fellow members of the High Court, especially Justices Black and Douglas, are also present. Of special interest in today's world is Justice Jackson's thinking on the limits of Executive Power in terms of war powers and foreign relations. I do think non-lawyers will be less interested when the author, a legal scholar, sometime goes into depth exploring aspects of Justice Jackson's thoughts on opaque technical areas, such as diversity jurisdiction under the constitution. And, I fail to see the need to spend much time on Justice Black's two children, as is done in chapter two "Family Matters." Why do I need to know that his daughter was a mediocre student in college or details about her early love life? Professor White clearly admires Robert H. Jackson as a fine advocate, brilliant writer, and independent judge, while noting some of his flaws. All in all, a good biography of an important American.

This is a good book to remind us of the futility of war and the tragedies that occur because of it.
