Beyond simple dimming, the Sonoff Mini Dimmer empowers you with real-time energy monitoring to track usage and optimize efficiency. Safety is paramount with built-in overheat protection that automatically cuts power if temperatures rise too high.
Important Installation Notes:
Professional Install Only: This device must be installed by a certified electrician with IoT & dimming expertise or warrenty is voided.
No Phone Support: Due to the complexity of the wiring, we cannot provide telephonic support.
Certification: South African certification is currently in progress.
Usage Tips
Bulbs: Always use identical dimmable bulbs. Replace all old bulbs at the same time to prevent flickering.
Flicker Fix: Ask your installer to set the minimum brightness to the bulbs’ limit + an extra 10% buffer to prevent eye strain.
To control this dimmer with the Sonoff R5 remote, you must have another device with an ‘eWeLink-Remote’ gateway on your ewelink App (see compatability list below)
