Ajanta caves comprise ancient worship halls and monasteries. These were a part of different Buddhist traditions carved into a wall of rocks. The inside shows a beautiful range of paintings created to depict the past lives and rebirths of Gautam Buddha. Along with that, it also includes pictorial tales from Aryasura's Jatakamala.

Most of the colors used to create the paintings inside the Ajanta Ellora caves can still be seen vividly. If you see, you'll observe that all the characters are bright and multi-colored but are never repeated. It's a unique style!
