This specific catalyst has proven itself in numerous Ferrari and Lamborghini applications - able to withstand extreme abuse while preventing any check engine lights. The HD designation signifies the incorporation of a brazing stripe and special mantles to hold the metal matrix in place through the toughest of conditions while ensuring the overall integrity of the catalyst. The best part - increased performance without a check engine light and no tune required. The portion of the exhaust that contains the catalyst is a rather large component, making a full replacement section costly. Our elegant "Slip-ON Design" design incorporates a OEM style Torca clamp for easy installation into the factory double walled exhaust configuration - simple cutting is required for installation. The 718 stock catalytic converter can easily and quickly be bolted on to make the 718 exhaust back to stock at any time utilizing the same OEM quality torca clamp. Its super simple and all completely hidden under the cars sheet metal covers. Its all undetectable. Simple cutting is the logical and smart way to accomplish a HJS German sport cat or catbypass pipe. The addition of Fabspeed's Sport Catalytic Converter added 8.5 HP and 18 ft-lbs of torque peak power gains when tested on our Dynojet on a stock vehicle. 13 whp and 17ft-lbs at 4000 will make a significant difference in drivability. Why We Choose HJS Catalytic Converters:

HJS German imported catalytic converters are made from some of the highest grade materials you can find in a catalytic converter. This yields high performance gains and longevity so it wont deteriorate over time like lower grade catalytic converters. These catalytic converters flow up to 93-95% of a straight pipe in most applications. The benefit is that you get the "straight pipe sound" while still being able to provide enough emissions scrubbing to prevent a check engine light.
