Product Description:
This fantastic dust extractor from DEWALT is in the M-Classification. This means that it is approved by the HSE (Health & Safety Executive) for site use. The DCV586M is suitable for soft woods, hard woods, boards, concrete, brick dust and solid surface materials like Corian. The dust extractor can be used in wet or dry vacuuming and has a 9L total capacity. The system is powered by a single 54V Lithium-ion XR FlexVolt battery, however none are included with this to allow further savings if you already have FlexVolt batteries.
As with many powertools from DEWALT, the high performance 2000 Watt motor in this is the brushless type, allowing for longer battery life and less maintenance. The vacuum is compatible with DEWALT's versatile TSTAK system making it easy to cart around with the rest of your tools especially if you have a T-STAK trolley. Another requirement of M-Class dust extractors is that the system notifies you if the suction is reduced to the point that dangerous particles are no longer being captured, and the DCV586M incorporates an alarm when a drop in motor performance is detected.
