The Bluetooth Mate is very similar to our BlueSMiRF modem, but it is designed specifically to be used with our Arduino Pros and LilyPad Arduinos. These modems work as a serial (RX/TX) pipe, and are a great wireless replacement for serial cables. Any serial stream from 2400 to 115200bps can be passed seamlessly from your computer to your target.
Bluetooth Mate has the same pin out as the FTDI Basic, and is meant to plug directly into an Arduino Pro, Pro Mini, or LilyPad Mainboard. Because we’ve arranged the pins to do this, you cannot directly plug the Bluetooth Mate to an FTDI Basic board (you’ll have to swap TX and RX).
The RN-42 is perfect for short range, battery powered applications. The RN-42 uses only 26uA in sleep mode while still being discoverable and connectable. Multiple user configurable power modes allow the user to dial in the lowest power profile for a given application. If you need longer range, check out the Bluetooth Mate Gold.
The Bluetooth Mate has on-board voltage regulators, so it can be powered from any 3.3 to 6VDC power supply. We’ve got level shifting all set up so the RX and TX pins on the remote unit are 3-6VDC tolerant. Do not attach this device directly to a serial port. You will need an RS232 to TTL converter circuit if you need to attach this to a computer.
Unit comes without a connector; if you want to connect it to an Arduino Pro, we’d suggest the 6-pin right-angle female header.
Note: The hardware reset pin of the RN-42 module is broken out on the bottom side of the board. This pin is mislabeled as ‘PIO6’, it is actually PIO4. Should you need to reset the Mate, pull this pin high upon power-up, and then toggle it 3 times.

From Puppy Teething to Adult Favorite – 7 Years Later

This has been one of the best toys I’ve ever bought! My dog has loved the Pupstages Cool Teething Stick since she was a tiny puppy, and now at 7 years old, it’s still one of her absolute favorites. It’s been amazing for soothing teething when she was little, and now she still enjoys chewing on it and carrying it around.
It’s held up surprisingly well over the years, especially considering how much use it’s gotten. I also love that you can cool it for extra relief—it really helped during those puppy stages.
If you’re looking for a toy that lasts and actually becomes a long-term favorite, this is definitely it. Highly recommend for both puppies and even older dogs who still love a good chew! 🐶

LOVE this tough toy! My teething puppy is still enjoying it!

LOVE the hedgehog! Very tough! My dachshund has not been able to chew off any of the 'nubs', and does she try! lol The only thing is, the first thing she did was chew off the nose, but I discarded it and watched her closely to make sure she didn't chew off any more, and no, its still being chewed on.
Wish I could find more toys like this one!!

Perfect First Toy for Tiny Puppies – Lightweight, Engaging, and a Great Value

This Cool Teething Stick has been the absolute best first toy for our 1.5 pound puppy! It’s incredibly lightweight, making it easy for even the tiniest pups to pick up, carry, and play with independently.
The soft crinkle sound keeps him entertained without being overwhelming, and the little ribbon ends plus the triangular shapes add just the right amount of texture and interest.
For the quality, design, and how much joy it brings, the price is unbeatable. At $4.99, this is an easy must-buy for anyone with a young or very small puppy. Highly recommend for a tiny puppy. I do think the durability could be an issue for a large puppy. Keep in mind this puppy is under 2 pounds.

Good size for my pug!

I love how it’s a good size for my pug it is easy for her to play around with. I had stuffed animals for her to play around with but it looked so silly to watch her play with something that is 10 times as big as her 😂. I had to buy her these toys and she seemed so happy when she first got them.
It was so funny and interesting that she had to chew all three toys and decide which one she liked. At first she decided to play with the rope toy and she liked the rope toy, then she got curious with the rubber toys. She has decided that the rubber toys are her favorite and I’ve tried to engage with playing with her with the rope toy. She gets more interactive with the rubber toys! She also looked so relieved while chewing them so that’s a plus!
