Follow-up to 2017's You Might Be Smiling Now... and contains the kind of melodies and mockery that led Uncut to class the band as the point at which "Stephin Merritt lies down with The Vaselines." At the forefront remain the mischievous lyrics and heartfelt vocals of siblings David and Katie Pope, aided and abetted by Chris Elkin on lead guitar, Fraser Ford on bass guitar and Jason Sweeney on drums. Yet it is the recruitment of multi-instrumentalist Arion Xenos and guest appearance of Butcher Boy's Alison Eales to arrange strings that have helped elevate the band's music to new heights. Their progression is most noticeable on lead single "Dear Diary, I Died Again today", a painfully beautiful admission of everyday anxiety and "When Nietzsche Calls", the triumphant cry of a spurned lover revelling in the misery of their ex to a backdrop of trumpets and violins. The juxtaposition of the fragility shown in these tracks with the menace of "Wee Guys (Bobby's Got A Punctured Lung)" - an observation and understanding of the casual violence that once cast a shadow over the band's hometown - highlights The Just Joans' ability to seamlessly flip between sensitivity and danger, and sums up why Highway Queens described them as the "perfect Glasgow kiss." Great quality!

I do not review items very often, but after considering that I have ordered these no less than 30 times, I decided it was time. I have four dogs who absolutely love them, so I go through them pretty quickly. They are generally very large, with occasionally one smaller one in the bag. These are the best price/quantity pigs ears I have been able to find. Each bag has eight ears. My dogs range in size from a (very food-motivated) mini dachshund to a pit bull, so the treats are good for any size. I order them for my sister’s and my boyfriend’s dogs, and my boyfriend breaks them in half to give to his dog if you don’t want them to have the whole one all at once. Would highly recommend!

Best pigs ears on the market!
Size: Slivers (1.8 Pounds)
These are the best and biggest pigs ears on the market. I give my dogs 1 per day and they know exactly when it’s coming. They are, by far, their favorite treat. They’re not too stinky or greasy.

Happy dogs
Size: Whole Ears (Pack of 80)
I have two rescue dogs and one of them is a unrelenting 'I'm chewing everything in sight' pitbull. I've had her for a year and she is now three years old . I know this aggressive chewing will stop as she grows older but for now I find any snack that will keep her busy . I have bully sticks which are quite expensive and doesn't last as long as it should.I bought this 100 pack pig ears and of course they love it but it also takes her about the same amount of time to finish it as a 12 inch bully stick, which is a win in my book. These ears are cheaper than bully sticks and are healthier than rawhide chews . These pig ears come in different sizes but most of them are huge where I'm in need to search for a smaller one for my other dog since she is 50 lbs and not 80 lbs like my pitbull. If you need ones that are sliced smaller , then you're in luck because they also sell one with mixed whole and slices. I got the whole ears and I am very happy with the quality of them. It was sent in a sealed plastic bag within a box. Once opened there is no way to reseal them so be prepared to repackage or as I did, put them in a airtight container like the ones I use for their dog food.
Hope this helps other dog lovers keep their doggos happy

Huge!
Size: Whole Ears (Pack of 60)
I always bought pig ears at Costco until they quit carrying them. My dogs were addicted at that point, and anything comparable was more than double the price. I ordered a few different brands on Amazon and they were either tiny, or the picture didn’t match what was delivered. I have a Rottweiler. He eats these like potato chips.
I read reviews for these that were negative and was hesitant to buy them because of the negative reviews. My only complaint is that I also have a Basset Hound, and she buries these in my house because they’re too big for her to eat at one time.
