Mary Blair introduced Modernism to Disney’s studios, having worked on the 1955 “Lady and the Tramp”, the 1953 “Peter Pan”, the 1951 “Alice in Wonderland”, 1950 “Cinderella”, 1941 “Dumbo”, 1940 “Fantasia” amongst many more. In 1991, the artist was honoured as a Disney Legend.

Made in 1953, Walt Disney's Peter Pan was the studio's last ever animated feature film where all nine of the original core animators worked together; described as “Disney’s Nine Old Men” by Walt since their very first film, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937).
