Jazz as the art of dialogue: two of the great musicians of today's jazz from different continents and generations make music sparkle. Born in Osaka in 1948, Aki Takase moved to Berlin where her musical partners included Han Bennink, Evan Parker, Rudi Mahall, David Murray, Louis Sclavis and Fred Frith as well as her husband and pianist Alexander von Schlippenbach. Ingrid Laubrock, born in 1970 in Stadtlohn in North Rhine-Westphalia, moved to London at the age of 19 where she studied with the saxophonists Jean Toussaint and Dave Liebman. She has lived in Brooklyn since 2008. In her publications she shows a wide musical spectrum ranging from the quintet Anti-House to the orchestral recordings of "Contemporary Chaos Practices" from 2018. "Ingrid is one of my favorite saxophonists," says Aki Takase. "She is a talented player with a lot of technique, very creative, smart and above all I love her dedicated approach to making music". And Ingrid Laubrock says about Aki Takase: "It feels great to play with Aki. She's so unique and the feeling of serious playfulness and communication I'm looking for musically is there immediately". The album Kasumi presents wonderful dialogues, which radiate joy, wit and warmth or hold the breath in silent intensity, so as not to break the spell.

Easy Install, Stable, & Fun

These are simple plastic shelves but that's exactly why I got them. I wanted to display and assortment of my favorite figures and I love how it came out with my wall decor. They are sturdy, but I wouldn't put books or anything with real weight to them. I didn't use screws since I'm in an apartment so I used double sized sticky backs and they look great. The size is small but as advertised. Overall, functions well and already bought more!

Great low cost option!!!!

I was looking for some cute storage for my bathroom. I am a skin care product junkie. I saw lots of options but when these popped up, I thought for $19.99 I’m giving it a try. They are a really nice low cost option. They were simple to put together and hang. I’m very impressed with how much they hold and how nice they look. The hardware is very durable and the color looks great!

Happy with the outcome.

It was really easy to follow instructions. Looks super nice once it’s all put together . I did get the all wood one which I have to keep I might use a clear polish so it won’t feel rough. Once I decorated it looked super nice.
