This recording features a dream cast for Elektra: Evelyn Herlitzius, Anne Schwanewilms, Waltraud Meier and René Pape, all under the expert baton of Strauss master Christian Thielemann. "With this production the soprano Evelyn Herlitzius confirms her status as perhaps the finest Elektra of her generation. " New York Times. This is a historic release since the opera was premiered in Dresden in 1909, with the Staatskapelle - and the orchestra recorded it only once before (in 1960: also for DG with Karl Böhm).

Does well on my sensitive skin

This is a good sunscreen, doesn't bother my sensitive skin or cause a roseacea flare up. It is a bit too dewy for my taste to wear just by itself, but does just fine when I use it under my makeup. If you like the "glass skin" look, it would be a good option.
