The Excel DC is a standout double-cutaway semi-hollow offering classic tones and modern versatility. With deep, comfortable cutaways and a slim C-shape neck profile offsetting its 16-inch-wide body shape, the Excel DC's playability is remarkable. A Seymour Duncan 59 humbucker in the neck position complimented by a Seymour Duncan SH-4 humbucker in the bridge position provide an impressive tonal range of vintage-voiced warmth to glassy high-end, while its center block fights off feedback at high volumes. No more painful cracked heels! These really do work!

These really do work well. This is one of the first winters that I have not experienced painful, cracked heels.
