The platinum-topped gold mounting lends additional refinement to the beautifully sculpted design.
The ring measures approximately 0.70 inches north to south across the face and weighs 3.43 grams. It remains in great antique condition, with all stones secure and the intricate details of the setting well preserved.
Currently a size 3.5, the ring may be resized within reason for an additional charge.
The sapphire has been identified through Raman spectroscopy, a non-destructive analytical technique that provides precise gemstone characterization. Metal content has been verified using XRF (X-ray fluorescence) analysis in conjunction with traditional jeweler’s acid testing, confirming a platinum-topped 15 karat gold mounting.
