Drawing from the old traditions of the genre, they play elemental and majestic black metal with an unyielding force and passion, showcasing a sharply focused and dynamic sense of composition marked as much by somber patience as arrogant strength.2019 will see the release of Ageless Fire on Profound Lore Records. Expanding upon the triumphant framework hinted at with 2017's Burning Arrow EP, as well as the majestic fury of 2015's Realm of Sacrifice, Vanum's newest effort sees the band continuing to chart a path of steady ascendency and constant growth. While the album's overt Bathory-by-way-of-Hellas inspiration is of note, this is by no means a throwback album. The towering songs here emerged organically, and naturally reflect their heavy metal lineage as much as they also reveal the band's own unique identity. This ability to interpolate influence and individual inspiration into a seamless and deeply resonant whole make this release more than simply an exercise in emulation and further cements Vanum's place as a singular band, in reverence to the past while defiantly looking towards the future. Additionally, Ageless Fire is the first to feature the band's expanded lineup. In addition to M. Rekevics and K. Morgan, the band now includes long term live members E. Priesner and L. Sheppard. In this radiant and fully realized form, Vanum have crafted an album that builds on the muscular and triumphant nature of previous releases and expands upon it with a sense of mythic grandeur.

Excellent flavor, tenderness, texture and quality
Wow, blown away by the excellent flavor, tenderness, texture and quality.
I have never eaten Biltong before but it came up in Chatgpt when I asked about a great protein source to carry in my motorcycle tank bag that tastes better and has less UPFs and sugar than most beef jerky. The answer it gave me was Biltong.
I gave this a try and love it.

Very moist jerky
I like this style of jerky because it’s natural and I like the fat that is in it. I have purchased other brands that I like better than this brand. The taste is good, good quality and the product is very fresh. My only issue is I like dry jerky and feel the moisture content is way too high in this product for me. If you like moist jerky, than this is for you. If you like shoe leather jerky keep searching.

Best biltong tasted to date
Biltong depot produces the best biltong I have tasted to date . I was ordering the 8oz slabs till now but I am going to order these instead . Same taste but the convenience is that it’s already been thinly sliced . The only thing I could say is a negative is it has too much sodium which could be reduced.

Actual biltong that is not dried to the point of being jerky
If you are like me, you have ordered biltong as slabs and pre-sliced slabs from a bunch of companies promising the real deal. Too many of those companies trim the fat or dry things out so much that it might as well be American beef jerky with coriander added to the spice blend. This just arrived and we opened the bag not expecting anything different honestly. I am sitting here eating it and logging on to write a review because this is finally the real deal. I wouldn't say that it is wet, but it isn't American jerky level dry either and there is good fat on the pieces. It's pricey, and there was a dry piece or two and a bit of fat that hadn't been properly flavored, but it is the next best thing to a freshly sliced wet and fat slab. If you can afford this treat, don't waste your money on the less expensive stuff -this is what you are missing.
