The 0.65L Tin That Keeps a Yakumi Set Running

A spare tin is the difference between dropping a full condiment straight onto the pass and stopping to wash and refill mid-service. This is the large Yakumi inner tin, stainless steel, 136 x 106 x 59mm at 0.65L, the size used in the three-tin Yakumi set. Keep a few on the shelf and you can prep garnishes ahead, hold them in the fridge, and rotate a fresh tin onto the line whenever one runs low. Chefs including Rafael Cagali at Da Terra (2 Michelin stars) buy them as spares.

Why Chefs Choose This

  • Swap, don't stop: a spare full tin drops straight onto the line, so service never pauses to refill
  • Prep ahead: fill and chill tins in advance, then rotate them in as they are needed
  • Exact fit: 136 x 106 x 59mm at 0.65L, the same tin used in the three-tin Yakumi set
  • Food-safe stainless: non-reactive with acidic and salty condiments, easy to sanitise, built to last

How to Use

  • Rotate garnishes: keep duplicates of your busiest condiments ready to swap
  • Fridge to pass: prep, chill, then carry straight to the line
  • Portion and store: use as small stainless containers for any prepped component
  • Replace damaged tins: refresh a set without buying the whole tray again

Why kitchens buy Yakumi tins by the stack

Yakumi (薬味) are the small condiments that finish Japanese dishes, and in a busy kitchen they are prepped in volume and rotated through service rather than topped up one spoon at a time. The tins themselves become consumable kit: lost in the wash, dented, or simply needed in greater number as a station grows. Buying spares keeps a Yakumi set working for years rather than retiring it when a tin goes missing, and it lets a kitchen build a rotation, several tins of the same garnish prepped, chilled and swapped in as each one empties.

Which Yakumi set do the large tins fit?

These large tins, 136 x 106 x 59mm at 0.65L, are the size used in the three-tin Yakumi pan set. They suit any station running that set, whether you need a single replacement or a stack of spares to rotate prepped garnishes through service. The eight-tin set uses a different, smaller tin (105 x 67 x 57mm), so check the dimensions before ordering to make sure you are matching the right set.

What set do these large Yakumi tins fit?

They are the tins used in the three-tin Yakumi pan set, measuring 136 x 106 x 59mm with a 0.65L capacity. Buy a single tin to replace one that is lost or damaged, or order several to build a rotation of prepped garnishes that you can swap onto the line through service.

Can I buy the large Yakumi tins in bulk?

Yes. As well as singles, the large tins are available in cases of 4, 10 and 20, which works out cheaper per tin and suits a kitchen building a full rotation. Holding a case of spares means you can prep a garnish across several tins, chill them, and bring a fresh one to the pass whenever the working tin runs low.

Are the large and small Yakumi tins interchangeable?

No. These large tins (136 x 106 x 59mm, 0.65L) fit the three-tin set, while the small tins (105 x 67 x 57mm) fit the eight-tin set. The frames are sized for their own tins, so a large tin will not seat correctly in the eight-tin tray and vice versa. Check which set you run before ordering, and match the tin size to it.

GREAT CONCEPT AND DESIGN
I bought these Feminine Balance Gummies because I was intrigued by the approach that was utilized. For me, I have been involved with lactobacillus formulas and probiotics with incorporating yogurt (the really healthy kind not the ones with a lot of advertising) to deal with yeast overgrowth. Typically I am experiencing a problem because I am consuming too much sugary foods (causing the body's resources to be depleted) or because I have taken a course of antibotics which killed both the good and bad bacteria in the body and now needs replenished. So, my first impression was the intrigued by the use of Pineapple as a part of the formulation, which is unusual but a good choice nonetheless because it is very beneficial for digestion and also for pain reduction. I liked the taste of the gummy, it tasted like Pineapple candy. The inclusion of Vitamin C seemed a bit of a stretch and is included to enhance the immune function. There are lactobacillus strains but the manufacturer has kept the strains used as a proprietary secret - which I find a bit frustrating as a consumer. Whatever it is, there is a billion of them (is this per gummie?). The manufacturer does support the use of vegan only products, it is also "clean" Halal, it is gluten free and allergen free. So, it appears they have carefully considered the inclusion of each ingredient for benefit. So here is the real test, yes, I have had the desired outcome by improving my "lady garden" and this is a very viable product in my opinion. I would recommend it to others.

They are hard to chew
Gummies are old and hard, still tried them cause I want a fantastic kitty and it actually did the opposite. It’s been itchy and irritated with every that comes in contact with it. I never had a problem down there but now I do. It’s a no go for me.

Tasty, Easy‑to‑Take Gummies for Daily Feminine Balance Support
I picked these up because I wanted a simple, vegan option to support pH balance and overall feminine wellness, and these gummies have been really easy to add into my routine. The Hawaiian pineapple flavor is surprisingly good—sweet without being artificial—and the texture is soft and easy to chew. I like that they combine multiple areas of support in one: healthy odor, flora balance, and immune support. It makes them feel like a well‑rounded daily supplement instead of juggling multiple bottles. They’re also non‑GMO and vegan, which is a big plus if you’re trying to keep your routine clean.

Tastes Great, But More General Wellness Than Targeted Feminine Support
I tend to prefer gummies over capsules whenever possible, so these Yalei 4-in-1 Nuora Feminine Balance Gummies caught my attention as a potential replacement for my usual women’s probiotic. The bottle contains 60 gummies (30 servings), with a formula centered around vitamin C, pineapple fruit powder, and Bacillus coagulans (1 billion CFU). The ingredient list is clean and clearly labeled, and I appreciated that it’s free from common allergens like soy, dairy, gluten, and tree nuts. The outer and inner tamper seals were intact. The manufacturing and expiration dates were also easy to read, which is something I always look for with supplements. Taste-wise, these are genuinely enjoyable. The pineapple flavor is pleasant, not overly artificial, and there’s no lingering aftertaste. The texture is firm without being sticky, which makes them easy to take daily. Honestly, these fall into that category where it’s tempting to eat more than the serving size. Where things became more nuanced for me was performance. I switched from a more targeted women’s probiotic that included specific Lactobacillus strains and additional D-mannose and cranberry support ingredients. Within about two weeks of making the swap, I experienced a UTI flare-up, which led me to go back to my previous formula. That experience made the difference in formulation stand out. My prior supplement included strains commonly associated with vaginal microbiome support along with additional complementary ingredients, whereas this product uses a single Bacillus-based probiotic strain. From my experience, this felt more like a general wellness probiotic gummy rather than something formulated for more targeted feminine health concerns. That doesn’t make it a bad product–it just depends on what you’re looking for. If your goal is a simple, good-tasting daily probiotic with light supportive ingredients, this fits that role well. If you’re specifically trying to maintain balance in more sensitive or recurring situations, you may want something more specialized. The brand also includes details like GMP manufacturing claims and batch testing which adds a layer of reassurance, though it does appear to be a newer brand. At its current lower price point, I do think it offers decent value for a general-use gummy. For me personally, though, I’ll be sticking with a more targeted formula moving forward.

Probiotic fruit snacks
Disclaimer: vine review of an item I requested free* These taste great, just like fruit snacks. I've gotten a lot of gummies from this brand and haven't found a bad one yet. Pineapple isn't even a flavor I usually like, but these taste good. Somehow they're always sweet with no weird aftertaste without having added sugar. Not too sticky, it doesn't leave residue on your fingers, but they do sometimes stick together. Mainly I got these to have some fruit snacks to eat, but the probiotics are a nice bonus and now I can pretend I'm being healthy when I eat my candy.
