美國文學史上影響最深遠的作家之一，他的作品囊括無數獎項，包括兩項終生成就貢獻獎。受他影響而開展寫作生涯的作家不計其數，名作家史蒂芬．金也評譽他的小說精采懸疑，令人震撼不已。
寇米耶出生於麻州萊姆斯塔（Leominster，依鄉音譯）的法丘(French Hill)地區，父祖鄰居皆來自加拿大的法裔移民。
1974年他根據兒子彼得拒絕賣巧克力所引發靈感，出版了《巧克力戰爭。因書中深度探討校園黑幫與同儕霸凌，並挑戰了教育體制與宗教等等禁忌，50年來不斷被保守團體抵制，但仍擋不住年輕人的推崇。1988年被改編成電影。
2000年底寇米耶因肝癌病逝，英美各重要媒體皆以專刊大篇幅悼念，讚譽他就像《巧克力戰爭》裡的傑瑞，以一人之力撼動了整個文學界。

Garbage

This product is absolute garbage! It literally took all day to put it together and if the air conditioning blows on it the wrong way than the whole thing top over and it falls apart.
It’s not made of quality material and is very flimsy. The only reason I’m not returning it is because it’s too difficult to put together and I don’t wanna spend that much time trying to take it apart. Do not buy this!

Easy assemble and not to big!

I bought this because I fo a lot of zoom/teams meetings and work just mandated no false backgrounds (don’t ask) soooo to hide my real home and allow others to roam free while I work I got this. Easy to assemble although you will need some space. I thought I might be to big at 11’ wide as I have a small desk area but actually it’s perfect and could use a couple more panels. Leaves just enough room so I’m not completely cocooned - I can move my chair and get up walk behind chair and exit space. Great deal and tax deductible!

Fair Quality, Hour and a half build

Key things: It does (more or less, not completely) fold in on itself, it does block nearly all visibility (especially from an angle), it was only about an hour and thirty minutes to put together, and it is light weight.
