The symbol of deep sea exploration from the beginning of the 1960’s through the end of the 1970’s, the Tropic strap has equipped the most legendary dive watches.

Like its predecessor from the 1960’s, the Joseph Bonnie Tropic-style strap is made of vulcanised natural rubber: a process using high temperatures where sulfur is incorporated into rubber to modify its structure.

Vulcanisation makes the rubber more resistant while retaining suppleness. It also gives the material a lustrous sheen that immediately distinguishes it from silicone reproductions.

For our strap, we called upon one of the world-leading manufacturers of professional diving materials. A true expert of natural rubber answered our challenge with an extremely detailed design. Unlike most other rubber and silicone versions today, the quality, engineering, and minute details of our Tropic-style strap make it as comfortable underwater as it is above it.

The characteristics of the strap remain intact under water making it particularly suitable for scuba diving. Its size does not budge; neither does its technical resistance. The strap will stay free from odors and humidity.
The finishing touch of this strap is the inclusion of an original NOS (New old stock) Tropic buckle from the 60s. It will easily enhance the presence of a variety of watch case thickness with its one-of-a-kind retro touch.

Awesome!
I have tried so many ways of keeping my coffee beans fresh. This cannister is the winner! It is a very high quality container made of Borosilicate Glass which has provided me the protection I need in order to maintain freshness. I am happy, beyond description, with how well this works! The wide mouth allows easy access to the beans until the last is used. And when it is time to clean it, I can easily wipe it out as well as put it in the dishwasher since it is also dish washer safe. I will consider getting a second one for storing other items that I want to keep fresh as well as visible (like cookies, etc).

For serious coffee connoisseurs
I got this coffee canister because I know that my coffee connoisseur, son will be staying at our home for a few months this spring. He invests in very good quality coffee beans and grinds his portions as needed. I know that this glass vacuum type jar will do the trick in keeping the beans fresh so that the oils don't dry out. My husband and I use a flip top hinged canister for our more regular grind and the speed at which my husband drinks coffee means that it's usually quite fresh without the vacuum additional feature. I would caution that it took a hot minute to figure out how it work and wasn't easy to get open the first time outta the blocks. Read the instructions so you get familiar with home the air is extracted and how to release the pressure to open the canister.

Nice glass canister
Holds coffee airtight, keeping it fresher longer. It's see-through, so even guests know where to get the coffee. Good quality.

Not what I expected
For the price, I thought this was a real air release coffee jar. The kind you can use a vacuum sealer on that really gets out all of the air. This is one of the press pump types. For most, this would be efficient, but I make espresso and need the freshest beans. I roast myself and need them to maintain their freshness and this doesn’t quite do it for me.

Thin glass but good container
My biggest worry with this container is that it is such thin glass. I fear if I were to hit it the wrong way or it even fell a foot it would shatter. The seal is very good though and holds my coffee beans. It is easy to open and seal. I have no issues with it and it does what it is intended for other than it being a bit thin.
