  • Roman Empire silver denarius coin.
  • Struck for Empress Faustina Senior at the Rome Mint.
  • RIC 388 (rated as Rare), 3.03g.
  • Posthumous consecration issue, 138-140/1 AD, issued by her devoted husband Emperor Antoninus Pius.
  • Historic reverse architectural type with structure that can be seen in Rome today.
  • Rare type commemorating the dedication of the Temple: DEDICATIO AEDIS.
  • Certified by NGC to Ch F, (perhaps plated).
  • Obverse: DIVA AVG FAVSTINA, draped bust right.
  • Reverse: DEDICATIO AEDIS, Hexastyle temple with statues.
  • The temple was begun in 141 AD by the Emperor Antoninus Pius and was initially dedicated to his deceased and deified wife, Faustina the Elder. When Antoninus Pius was deified after his death in 161 AD, the temple was re-dedicated jointly to Antoninus and Faustina by his successor, Marcus Aurelius.
  • The building stands on a high platform of large peperino blocks. The later of two dedicatory inscriptions says, "Divo Antonino et Divae Faustinae Ex S.C." meaning, “To the divine Antoninus and to the divine Faustina by decree of the Senate.
  • The ten monolithic Corinthian columns of its pronaos are 17m (56 ft) in height. The rich bas-reliefs of the frieze under the cornice, of garlanded griffons and candelabri, were often copied from the sixteenth through the nineteenth centuries.
  • Christianization accounts for the survival of the cella and portico of the temple through the centuries, though it did not preserve the edifice from all damage. The marble cladding of the cella was scavenged. The deep grooves in the temple's columns are supposed to date to a medieval attempt to dismantle the pillared portico, either for spolia or to destroy the pagan temple. Also in the Middle Ages, a staircase was built on the side facing the Forum, but it is now impossible to enter from that side because there is a gap of circa 6m (20 ft) between the foot of the steps and the bronze door. Before the archeological excavations, the ground level was at this door. Excavations in front of the temple were undertaken in 1546, again in 1810, and at intervals from 1876.

Works well. Easy to carry.
Size: 1-Gallon 2-Value Pack
My 2-gallon sprayer’s nozzle cracked — leading to Spectracide dribbles along my path through the yard…not good! Since a replacement nozzle cost as much as a new sprayer, so began the search for a new unit. I admit that lugging a full 2-gal sprayer around the yard, although it required no refilling, became quite tiring and blister-inducing; I then began reading reviews for 1-gal … Horror stories about bad seals, leaks, no pressure, etc. had me dismayed. However, since Amazon’s return policy is easy, I decided on this 2-pack of 1-gal Chapin 22000. If needing my usual 1.5-2 gallons of weed killer, I could always fill BOTH ahead of time and save myself some blisters and backache! Never having used pressurized sprayers WITHOUT pressure relief valves, I was slightly hesitant to buy these, though…well, I guess I’ll just have to be extremely careful to not get the poisonous spray on myself when removing the pump! ☠️ Sprayers arrived in perfect, brand new condition; all parts/pieces were received. Assembly was super easy, even WITHOUT referring to instruction manual — used channel locks to tighten the hose, as pliers could not be located and hands are not very strong. Tested/practiced with water. Got a feel for how many pumps were necessary and adjusted the spray tip to my preference. My last sprayer required opening the PRV and then squeezing sprayer to empty hose/release remaining pressure in order to be able to unscrew pump handle. The directions for THESE say to simply unscrew the handle a bit until you can hear the built-up pressure vent out. I did just that — no explosive spray to the face and the pump handle unscrewed easily. WHEW! So, today was the sprayer’s maiden voyage around the yard. I followed the directions to pump the handle until resistance is felt (maybe 8x?). WOW — so much easier to carry! Pressure is great — liquid shot out about 15’! Although the “feel” of the sprayer trigger is cheap and small (even for female hands), it was quite responsive and allowed for a steady stream with no leaks/dribbles. Happy with this purchase and hope I can get at least a few years out of them. 🤞🏼 Also, after I’d placed my order, I just happened to be in WM’s lawn/garden section… These are sold there, as well, for a higher price. They seem to be very popular, too, as nearly all were gone from the shelf.

Simple, Reliable Pump Sprayer with Easy Locking Trigger
Size: 1-Gallon
This pump sprayer is very straightforward to set up and gets ready for use quickly without any complicated assembly. The locking trigger is a standout feature since it allows continuous spraying without needing to constantly hold the handle down, which makes longer watering or treatment tasks much easier on the hand. The spray output feels consistent and controlled, and it works well for garden applications like fertilizer, herbicide, or general watering. The build quality feels solid enough for regular home and garden use, and the tank is easy to fill and pressurize without much effort. The handle and pump action feel smooth, and overall operation is simple and intuitive. Considering the ease of use, practical locking trigger, quick setup, and reliable performance, it offers good value for the money for everyday garden and yard maintenance tasks.

Great, Affordable, Pump Sprayer
Size: 1-Gallon
This is an affordable pump pressure sprayer. It works the same as, if not better than, other higher priced sprayers I have used. Itnis easy to clean and has an adjustment tip to change the amount of spray and width of spray. With it only being 1 gallon it is easy to carry while walking the perimeter of my home to spray for pests.

Good
Size: 1-Gallon
I’ve used this sprayer for applying fertilizer, insect control, and watering plants, and overall it works really well for basic lawn and garden jobs. The pump builds pressure quickly, and the adjustable nozzle gives a nice range from mist to stream. I also like the translucent tank because it makes it easy to see fluid levels while mixing. The anti-clog filter is a nice feature and helped keep the spray consistent during use. It’s lightweight and comfortable to carry around the yard. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that some of the plastic parts feel a little lightweight, and I noticed a slight drip from the nozzle after extended use. Still, for the price and performance, it’s a solid sprayer and gets the job done well.
