With the built-in optical correction group,Focal length of lens is multiplied by 0.71 based on the original, makes the effective focal length smaller and the shooting range wider.
Equivalent focal length = focal length x 0.71 x APS-C conversion factor
Take 50mm lens as an example:
EF-E II: 50mm x 0.71 x 1.5 = 53mm
Ordinary Lens Adapter: 50mm x 1.5 = 75mm
Increases the aperture by 1 stop
EF-E II booster can increase one stop aperture of lens to blur the background and better highlight the theme.
