畫面演出不僅保留前作的俯瞰構圖外，這次更加入不少廣角、傾斜視角變化，並將夏日種種元素遍藏書中角落，讓讀者自行觀察發現。中段更透過開門大摺頁呈現祭典夜市攤販的精彩與熱鬧。

1982年生於日本埼玉縣，自2006年左右開始發表油畫創作。
2008年起和友人畫家武內明子一同在日本全國旅行，展開找尋靈感題材和展覽場所，進行創作並在該地點發表的「候鳥計畫」活動。截至2023年為止，已在日本全國30處和加拿大旅行過和展出。並且，也經營著在自家建地中的山內龍雄藝術館。
著有繪本《うえからみたり よこからみたり》（暫譯：從上面看從旁邊看－「兒童之友年少版」，福音館書店出版）、《暖被桌》（遠流出版）。喜歡溫泉和吃東西。愛貓的名字叫小黑。目前居住於神奈川縣藤澤市。
