Nature is one of my greatest inspirations. It is also one of my first inspirations. From a young age, I always enjoyed riding my bike in nature, picking flowers from the wild, and drawing butterflies and trees in my notebooks. It was the opposition to urban life and always drew me in. When I think of what brings me the most joy from all the beautiful sights and smells of the natural world, I believe my answer would be: “The color green.” Green is the opposition to the city's gray and the white of indoors. Closing my eyes and thinking of a green landscape brings comfort and peace. Sometimes when I feel overwhelmed living in the city, all I have to do is close my eyes and Think Green.
