Meet the GTS HCH-7010-CHG, a robust single cradle charger engineered to streamline how you power and manage Symbol (Motorola) MC70 and MC75 mobile computers. In bustling retail, warehouse, or field-service environments, uptime matters. This cradle delivers reliable charging while enabling data synchronization, so your devices stay ready for action without the tangled clutter of multiple cables. Built to fit the Symbol MC70 and MC75 family, the HCH-7010-CHG is a practical, space-saving docking solution that accelerates workflows, reduces device downtime, and simplifies device management for teams that rely on mobile data collection every shift.

  • All-in-one charging and data synchronization: The HCH-7010-CHG cradle is designed to charge Symbol MC70/MC75 handhelds while also supporting data synchronization with your host system. This means your device can be charged and connected for data transfer in a single, compact dock, minimizing downtime and cord clutter on desks, carts, or service counters. With this setup, your team spends less time plugging and unplugging devices and more time getting work done.
  • Battery compatibility and future-proofing: This single cradle accommodates multiple HMC70 Li-ion battery configurations — Li(22), Li(36), and Li(48) packs — enabling you to standardize charging across a mixed fleet. Whether you’re refreshing old batteries or swapping to larger-capacity packs for extended shifts, the HCH-7010-CHG supports the standard battery formats used in MC70/MC75 environments, helping you optimize power management and minimize downtime caused by incompatible charging hardware.
  • Durable, ergonomic design for everyday use: Built to withstand the rigors of shipping floors, service counters, and warehouse aisles, the cradle’s solid construction provides a stable docking surface and secure retention for devices during charging and sync operations. A compact footprint helps you maximize workspace, while a low-profile profile ensures easy reach and quick alignment of devices—important when teams are loading and unloading devices at high frequency.
  • Easy setup and safe charging with clear indicators: Designed for quick deployment, the HCH-7010-CHG offers straightforward alignment of the MC70/MC75 devices and clear status indicators to verify charging and data transfer. The cradle includes built-in protections to guard against overcharging and power fluctuations, helping extend battery life and protect devices. This means less maintenance and more reliable performance in busy environments where devices are in near-constant use.
  • Versatile deployment across environments and ecosystems: From retail checkout lanes and field service vans to warehouse docks and maintenance desks, this cradle fits a range of setups. The single-cradle design makes it easy to deploy in multiple locations, while its compatibility with Symbol MC70/MC75 devices ensures a seamless integration into existing workflows. Whether you’re equipping a small team or a large operation, the HCH-7010-CHG scales to meet your charging and synchronizing needs.

How to install GTS HCH-7010-CHG

Installing the GTS HCH-7010-CHG is quick and straightforward. Follow these steps to ensure proper setup and reliable performance:

  • Place the Symbol MC70 or MC75 device into the cradle with the back of the unit facing the charging contacts. Gently seat the device so the contacts align with the cradle’s charging pins and the device sits securely in the slot.
  • Connect the cradle to a power source using the included AC adapter. Ensure the power supply is plugged into a grounded outlet and that the outlet is accessible for easy power cycling if needed.
  • Observe the cradle’s LED indicators. A steady charging light confirms the device is charging properly, while a flashing or missing light may indicate misalignment or a power issue. Adjust the device position if needed until the charging indicator stabilizes.
  • If you are using data synchronization, connect the cradle’s data interface to your host system using the appropriate USB or communication cables as specified by your IT setup. Verify that the host recognizes the device after docking to complete the sync process.
  • Test a full shutdown-to-charge cycle by removing the MC70/MC75 after a complete charge and reinserting it to confirm continued reliability. Repeat the process for additional devices or batteries to ensure consistent performance across your fleet.

Great product
Fits our 2012 X5d perfectly. Do yourself a favor and youtube the process for replacing these. You'll see it's well worth doing yourself rather than paying a shop that charges a BMW premium on everything. Also something I learned recently... this is a low cost high charge item at the mechanic. A lot of times when they suggest replacing these it's because they just tick the box and don't actually look at them. We had our mechanic admit this on a recent service where it was suggested to replace, when we had just done it ourselves in April.

Perfect fit for our 2018 X5 35D
Perfect fit. Never replaced a filter in this car before and took me only 13 minutes. I timed it lol. That includes taking some before and after pictures from the old and new filter. What is worth mentioning is that the car was until now under the “fake maintenance” from BMW that comes with a new car and goes until 36.000 miles. Up to this mileage there is no other service the. The oil changes (3) due. The first real checkup is at a higher mileage and not covered anymore. Anyway , those filters where replaced before from a BMW dealership. When I compare the new filters and the filters I took out of the car they look the same. I was expecting to find some BMW marks on the installed filter but perhaps they don’t put their name in it anymore??? Or it could be they also put “after market” parts in. Anyway, BMW quoted me in all seriousness 700 dollar to replace those filters and the Inside filter The inside filter is on its way and is 25 dollar. Together with those filters the parts came to 55 dollar and I guess a total of 30 minute of work. Well done BMW, lol. We all need to make a living buy that should be considered “robbery” Anyway, if you thinking about replacing those filters then go for it. It’s not complicated and all you need is a screw driver to get one plastic river out that you can push back in once you are done. Those filters here from MANN are the real deal and fit perfectly and state that they are made in Germany. I have no reason not to believe it.

Excellent Product
It works really well. I used it on quarter tank and drove about 6 miles then filled up with top tier gas and my MPG went up by 3 miles on Highway and about 2 MPG city driving. At first there may be slight hesitation as it clears carbon. Then runs smooth as silk.

So far so good
It seems to be working well, so far. The check engine light turned off and the my vehicle seems to be running well. Be sure to follow the instructions. A while back, I wasted some money on a different catalytic converter cleaner because I put the cleaner in on a full tank of gas. It's best to wait until you're at a half tank or less of gasoline before you put in your catalytic converter cleaner. Also, I drove around right after I put in the catalytic converter cleaner and before I filled up my tank again. A couple of days later, I went to the gas station and topped off my tank. Again, it seems to be running well for now.
