Rugged and versatile, the face fabric is 70D fabric with a 160D reinforced weave, so it can take quite a few scrapes from jagged rock, and with the reinforced kick-strips, which add durability when wearing skis and crampons, they are invincible. A three-layer Drilite construction, which has a hydrostatic head of 20,000mm and a breathability rating of 20,000g/sqm/24h, makes these trousers waterproof and breathable. Fixed internal gaiters and full-length 2-way YKK® moulded side zips with inner storm flaps protect you from the elements and ensure that nothing seeps into your boots. Fully adjustable braces with a drop rear seat keep these trousers in place and make them comfortable for all mountain activities. The waterproof Karakoram Mountain Pants from Mountain Equipment are the ideal companion for harsh mountain pursuits.
