The Server Technology PRO2 Smart POPS PDU is engineered to give data center and enterprise IT teams unmatched visibility and control over rack-based power. By integrating LED input current monitoring with advanced PIPS and POPS technology, this PDU delivers billing-grade, per-phase power data that helps you optimize energy use, prevent overloads, and streamline asset management. In busy server rooms where uptime and energy efficiency drive bottom-line results, the Smart POPS PDU acts as both a power distributor and a precise power analytics instrument. With an 8.6 kW capacity in a compact, rack-mount form factor, it’s designed to support dense server configurations while maintaining safety, reliability, and ease of maintenance. The inclusion of real-time current sensing, intuitive indicators, and a scalable management framework makes it an ideal choice for organizations seeking to modernize their power provisioning, improve chargeback accuracy, and accelerate IT workflows. The C2SG36CE-YCMFAM00 model ships with a 36-outlet design and is positioned to handle mixed workloads, high-density compute, networking gear, and storage appliances within the same cabinet or adjacent racks. In short, this smart PDU blends robust electrical performance with intelligent monitoring to transform how you power and manage your critical IT assets.

  • Real-time per-phase monitoring with local LED indicators: Quickly assess loading on each phase during rack installation and routine maintenance. The visible current readouts help technicians validate safe power distribution without climbing into the cabinet, reducing risk and downtime while empowering proactive capacity planning.
  • Billing-grade measurement via PIPS and POPS technology: The PRO2 Smart POPS PDU delivers incredibly precise energy data, enabling accurate chargeback, cost allocation, and energy analytics across your IT footprint. This level of accuracy supports chargeback transparency and smarter budgeting for IT and facilities teams alike.
  • High-capacity power delivery (8.6 kW): Configure and power dense rack fleets with confidence. The 8.6 kW rating supports multi-server deployments, storage densification, and high-performance networking equipment, all within the same PDU ecosystem.
  • 36-outlet design tailored for versatile rack layouts: The C2SG36CE-YCMFAM00 delivers a robust, modular outlet arrangement that accommodates a wide range of servers, blades, and peripherals while preserving clean wiring and manageable cable management in busy racks.
  • Secure, scalable management and alerting: The smart PDU integrates with existing DCIM and monitoring ecosystems, enabling alerts, event logging, and power sequencing to protect hardware during startup, maintenance, and upgrades. This safeguards uptime and provides granular visibility for IT operations and facilities teams.

How to install Server Technology Smart POPS PDU - 8.6kW, C2SG36CE-YCMFAM00

  • Power down and verify that the installation area within the rack is clear of debris and that you have adequate clearance for wiring, cable management, and service access. Confirm that your rack and cabinet meet the mounting requirements for a standard 19-inch enclosure and can accommodate the 36-outlet configuration and the weight of the Smart POPS PDU.
  • Mount the PDU into the rack using the provided mounting brackets and screws. Align the chassis with the vertical rails, ensuring a stable, level installation. Tighten fasteners securely to resist vibration and accidental dislodging during equipment changes or facility maintenance.
  • Route power and data connections with attention to safety and cable management. Connect the PDU’s input connectors to a suitable three-phase power source that matches the rated voltage (208/230 VAC). Use properly rated cables and strain relief to minimize wear and ensure long-term reliability.
  • Power on the system and verify the local LED indicators on the PDU. Use the built-in LED input current monitoring to confirm per-phase loading, then cross-check against your expected rack load. If your environment supports remote monitoring, connect the PDU to the approved network or management interface and verify data flow, alarms, and dashboards.
  • Configure PIPS/POPS settings and any alert thresholds in alignment with your data center policies. Validate that energy measurements are accurately captured for chargeback and reporting. Test power sequencing and plugging order to ensure a safe startup sequence for connected devices, and document the configuration for future audits and maintenance.
  • Test and validate the entire system under normal operating conditions. Simulate peak loads if possible, monitor per-phase current, confirm billing-grade data across the three phases, and adjust thresholds as needed to balance capacity and redundancy. Maintain a routine inspection schedule for electrical and monitoring components to sustain peak performance over time.

Fun with a late blooming omega
Format: Kindle
I like this book. The story is fun, cute, and sexy. There's just a little drama, some excellent, steamy scenes, and a fairly good relationship building storyline. I especially like how all the main characters are a bit older than the usual 20 somethings I tend to see in this kind of book. Having said that, I wish there were more descriptions of the places, as well as the food in the fancy restaurant. I enjoyed the cocktails at the club, so I missed that kind of detail when Gray took Madison on a dinner date. I also wish there had been more interaction between Lucas and Madison, and Lucas and Rian. It felt a bit lopsided, with a focus on Rian, Madison, and Gray. I wish it had been proofread - there are a lot of typos, but nothing too distracting.

Madison Deserved Better
Format: Kindle
Madison was a beta...except she wasn't any longer. She was a late presenting Omega. And she was struggling. She was tall and thin, not tiny and curvy. She was opinionated. She was everything an Omega was not. After suffering through her first heat, her friends took her to Ardor, a club where Omegas came to safely find Alphas. She's not expecting much but then she connects with a sexy beta. And when she meets his Alphas, they set her body on fire. Maybe, she's found her no-strings-attached heat pack. Maybe, she's found something more. I could not connect with the characters in this book, so their story never resonated with me. And there was no love story; there was sex. Grey made it clear from the beginning that he had a true love and it was his beta boy, Rian. He went so far as to reassure Rian “Say the word, I’ll never touch her again. Lucas can put the babies in her. I only need you, beta boy”. So, Madison was there for babies, no emotions needed. Nice. No, thank you. I want the Omega to be the center of their world, not an incubator. Lucas and Rian weren't any better. After her heat, they let her leave. Not one of them made her feel valued. No one gave her a reason to stay or even offered a cuddle. And the sex didn't even come across as mind-blowing. Madison deserved better.

Pretty Darn Good
Format: Kindle
So I’ve been on a omega kick and this definitely hit the spot. Madison was frustrating at times with how she acted towards Lucas, Gray, and Rian. It was like she said towards the end, she didn’t believe she deserved nice things. It would have been nice to hear from her best friends again. They kind of were there in the beginning and the gone except for mention of text messages received from them. I feel like her friends would have been great help in encouraging Madison to go with the pack and never give Brent another chance because he was toxic. I loved Rian. His personality was awesome. His humor. His ability to make Madison comfortable whenever she was feeling overwhelmed. And the fact he fell for her and she fell for him first. They are cute together. I do feel like Lucas was the odd man out though. Like Lucas didn’t develop as much of a relationship with Madison. I would have really liked to see more development in the relationship between them. It was also the same with him and Rian. There is really no relationship displayed. Most of the relationship being displayed is between Rian and Gray. Nevertheless, I loved reading about the dynamic that came to fruition during the entirety of this story. Madison finally got her happiness. And Brent finally got punched in the face. Everyone got exactly what they deserve.
